Rainbow Dash on Printer Paper!

Hey ponies, I drew Rainbow Dash in study hall because i got bored. I did it in like the last 3 minutes of class, so it's definitely not my best. I'm currently level 0 in drawing(I SUCK) and I horribly failed on the wings, they're literally on her butt. I just wanted to know what people would think of this, and if you would rate it out of 10. Many spanks.

Honestly, I would give this about 3/10. Pretty much every part of her body is off. I think that you should try to spend more time if you want a good result. (Almost) no one will do a great drawing in a very short time, they will spend a lot of time on it, perfecting every part of the body as much as they can. I suggest that you do the same.

But I really think that you have the potential to do great drawings if you just put some time into each drawing. Keep working :)

Like a couple of people have said, it isn't really that good. There can be a lot of room for improvement. The wings (aside from being on the butt) do not really look like wings. Notice how on official art her wings look a little more open and slim and less 'fluffy'? post-5830-0-64186800-1348615858.png

Her legs look a little too 'stiff'. Almost too...rectangle like compared to the picture I posted where they are more curved at the hooves. Her back legs look too 'rectangle-like' primarily.

A pony's body tends to be a little more slim as well. Dash's body looks too long and stretched out.

Her face looks a little strange. However, I do like the eyes because I can never get them to look 'show-like'. The way you drew her ears look a little too sharp though.

I like how the mane and her tail are coloured though. They seem pretty accurate. However, her mane is really not well drawn. Her mane it supposed to look like it 'flows'. The way you drew it makes it look stuck. Her ends are supposed to kind of flow in the same direction aside from the tiny green bit. In your drawing, they are kind of all over the place. You also made the sides of her hair stick out a little more than it should. On the reference picture I showed, her hair looks kind of flat at the sides.

I know everyone will have different styles of drawing, but it looks like you wanted to make it look official because it looks similar to the vector I posted haha. Even for 3 minutes, it could be MUCH better. There is always room for improvement, don't get discouraged if you feel like your drawing sucks. If you really want to get better at drawing, just practise!

2.5/10.

I still suck at drawing, but I used to suck alot more until I watched a couple of speedpaints. maybe you should go onto youtube and watch someone else draw a pony and then you see how they do it. There are techniques and stuff, like drawing circles and connecting them. Its hard to explain.

Pretty good for a begginner drawer! ;)

For some improvments: The wings are a bit too off. Place them more in the middle of RD's body. The hair has to be a bit more neat. The body structure could also use some work. If you go on the internet you can find some great guidelines on how to draw a pony body

(believe me, I struggle with that too)! Another thing is the nose, but I think that EVERYONE, even skilled artists, have trouble with. Again, guidelines might be needed.

It's pretty good for a 3 minute drawing. I'm sure with practice you can become really good! :)

Thanks everypony for all the feedback. This was very rushed being i tried to finish it in the last 3 minutes of study hall. I'm gonna check out how other ponies draw them and learn how to use guidelines because I never understood them. I'll post a picture a month from now that should hopefully be much much better.
