So what do you all think about this? The S3 episode names of Eps 3-9 have been released. What do you think of them?

Seems suspiciously fake. I wouldn't get excited over it until we get any info from Hasbro themselves or something. Not saying that they look like bad episodes, though...

 

One thing that I note, to me, it seems like common sense that Twilight would get the first episode after the double-episode, her being the main protagonist and all. Now it's Pinkie Pie. Seems a bit off...

We got all the information from a source that has been 100% accurate on season 2. It could have been just a derp with that strawberry shortcake thing.

 

While on the subject of the episode titles. I like them. Especially Pinkie!

Really? I haven't been around before the first half of season 2, so I really didn't know about that. With a name as "Zap2it's" I really couldn't take it seriously. As for now though, I'd rather still stay neutral towards it, just to be on the safe side. :I

 

What I do note is that there are two Applejack episodes... will this be real, then she'd better get her own song... also, I kind of believe the Magic Duel episode will revolve around Trixie...

I'm a bit confused. Why on earth episode 5 airs before episode 4? It doesn't make sense

In my view, One Bad Apple is most likely going to be the bully themed episode as mentioned a short time back. Here's how I see it going down; a bigger, meaner bully (who is certainly larger than the average filly) arrives at school and starts picking on Diamond Tiara. The CMC at first are glad DT is being put in her place, but pretty soon think the new bully, who is a lot more "in your face" and traditional type of bully, is going to too far but of course, this only results in them and all the other fillies and colts being bullied. It goes so far to the point the bully starts picking on EVERYONE, including the adults.

 

An interesting subplot could be that the CMC go to Big Macintosh for help, but he refuses, stating it will not help anything. It could be revealed, and I do believe it, Macintosh was both a victim of bullying and then/or a bully himself when he was a colt and deeply regrets it. If you bully back, you are no better than the bully.

 

However, near the end, when Big Mac witnesses what a sadistic little (well, big) punk this filly, he finally has had enough and steps in and puts the bully in her place, possibly leading to Big Mac's absolute Crowning Moment of Awesome in the series.

Wonderbolt Academy should be fun, as we WILL get more Spitfire and Soarin', get into their personalities, drama, and most importantly...

One Bad Apple should be one heck of a smelly episode...

 

Apple Family Reunion could be interesting, we could get more Breaburn and shippings.

 

Spike at your Service is a spike episode so we know it will have love tweeks

 

The first two episodes are going to be perfect, the type of episodes I dreamed since June

 

Too many Pinkie Pies is going to be awesome, I can see PinkiexPinkie shippings already

 

Magic Duel HAS to be Trixie, at last we shall see some violence.

 

Sleepless Ponyville sounds like Silent Ponyville.

By the title Too Many Pinkie Pie's I think of craaaaaaaaazy things! Well and I think that Pinkie Pie gets too annoying to other ponies. =/

Title One Bad Apple gets me closer to somepony from Apple Accers leaving but then ofcourse comming back.

Title Magic Duel (MAYOR SPOILERS!) I am about 80% sure it will be Twilight vs Trixie. Rub my wings if that ain't so.

Title Sleepless in Ponyville gets me into somepony having a barrier over Ponyville that just takes away their sleep meter. Ooooor Luna Episode!

Title Wonderbolt Academy, well the title says it self. RD getting to Wonderbolts but for some reason I am getting a strange strange feeling, I think that some pegasus will be better than RD and will be choosen over her to Wonderbolts That would be Luriel and RD will try to make Wonderbolts think different.

Title Apple Family Reunion says for it self, but I am thinking of there being a new character, and mostly my mind targets that it will be a kid. I dunno why

Title Spike At Your Service will probably have Spike going around helping ponies, mostly Rarity ofcourse

I remember somepony else posting a thread about this. So glad they finally released some episode names!!!

 

Well first off we have a couple of Applejack episodes already. I suppose one is about her family, and the other...maybe her bad relative or rival?

 

The Magic Duel episode immediately catches my eye. A possible Trixie episode? I'd love to see Twilight face off with Trixie in a magic duel!

 

Wonderbolt Academy: YES! A RAINBOW EPISODE! Hopefully we'll see her interact more with the Wonderbolts, and I think the episode itself is going to be great. RD fans everywhere will scream in triumph.

 

Too many Pinkie Pie's: Pinkie somehow gets cloned? HOORAY FOR PINKIE EPISODES! I have a feeling I'll like this one as well. My favorite pony being the first to get her own episode on season 3...yay!!!

 

Sleepless in ponyville: Kinda have no idea what this one could be. Maybe Luna took away the moon or something, and nopony can sleep? Still, I think it'll be another good episode.

 

Spike at your service: Personally, I'm not a fan of the Spike episodes. Hopefully this one will be more entertaining and different. Maybe Spike gets overworked?

 

So far, season 3 looks like it's going to be AWESOME! The episodes they revealed so far look amazing. I don't think their fake, because I can just tell by the names and all that. We still have a few weeks before season 3 comes out. I hope I'll be able to watch it right when it's released.

Too many Pinkies is going to be insane. It will end the world, and universe as we know it. The other episodes seem interesting as well, I'm really excited to see "Magic duel".

Well all the episode titles seem good and I can't wait to see them. I find it very interesting that they would show 2 episodes so close to Christmas and New Years. Still good they going to keep showing new episodes.

 

Too many Pinkies- This seems like it is going to be a great episode. Multiple Pinkie Pie's seem like a perfect episode for her.

 

One Bad Apple- Seems like it could be a Applejack episode or a CMC episode. Well most likely look at another member of the Apple Family,who might be rotten. Maybe even Apple Bloom becomes mean. Not a fan of the CMC, but still maybe a good episode.

Wounderbolt Academy- I know there was a Wounderbolt Academy you had to go to become a Wounderbolt. This was on the trailer that the hub put up yesterday. This one I can't wait for.

 

Apple Family Reunion- By the way the tittle sounds they are recycling something from season 1. Which is a great idea to do. Nice way to bring in some other Apple Family members. Maybe we well get to see her mom and dad.

 

Spike at your service- Looks like Spike is helping Rarity with something. Maybe he well confuse something.

 

Well they all look good. The only episode not brought up yet is the one where Fluttershy turns into a dragon . Can't wait for season 3.

This! I've been waiting too long for sweet little JayJay (Stole your nickname for her, Clari ) to get her own song, and I'm just hoping that one of these episodes have her singing her own song. It'll be soooooooooooo awesome when it happens!

Well, I'm not convinced all of them are real but I'll give you my thoughts on a few of them.

 

Too Many Pinkie Pies

The concept sounds amazing and this could become one of my favorite episodes

 

One Bad Apple

I'm pegging this as an Apple Bloom episode, and I'm hoping it isn't because if they give any crusader screen time it should go to the most neglected character in the show: Scootaloo.

 

Magic Duel

Yeah, probably the return of Trixie. I have no desire for her to return but I hope it pleases her fans

 

Wonderbolt Academy

I'm excited and hyped up for this one especially but also very nervous. I see this playing out in a few ways.

1: They rehash The Last Roundup and Dash loses to most/all of the other competitors, a few people in the comments of EQD were saying that this was an opportunity to give Dash a well deserved humbling (which she already got IN SPADES in The Episode That Must Not Be Named)

 

2: They rehash Fall Weather Friends, Dash and her mysterious green rival get so wrapped up in the competition that they prove themselves unsuitable for the team. Wouldn't like this either

 

3: Dash and her rival have a truly epic competition that Dash barely wins. She realizes that joining the Bolts means less time with her friends and after an awesome song she decides to give the spot to her rival and be with her friends. I'd like this

 

4: they do something completely unexpected and awesome

 

So yeah, really exited for this season

This season is looking like it's going to be one hay of a ride... a hayride, if you will. Geeze, that was not funny, I apologize. Anyway, what have we got here?

 

Too Many Pinkie Pies. This just screams awesome. One Pinkie is hilarious and fun. Adding more Pinkies will just create a level of chaos even Discord would shed a tear at. Watch out for Discord's release, cuz if there is anytime it would happen in S3, this would be it. The sheer amount of chaos would crack his seal, I'm sure of it. Anyway, this episode sounds like it'll just be too much fun and I really hope the writers just go crazy with their ideas and have fun with it. Pinkie Pie is known for her randomness and nonsense that makes sense, so it's my wish to really see what she can do when the writers drop the restraints on her craziness. This is the perfect opportunity.

 

Wonderbolt Academy. Eh, it sounds like an RD episode and you all know that I'm not a big RD fan. I mean, how could this NOT be an RD episode?? I do hope that Soarin, Spitfire, and Fleetfoot all get some screen time and action. Shoot, even Fluttershy might come along to cheer Dash on, who knows?

 

Spike at your Service. Obviously a Spike episode. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. He doesn't get a lot of love from the camera or the writers. In fact, this might even be a flashback episode when Spike and Twilight begin their friendship. I'd like to see more of the Canterlot library we only glimpsed in the first episode, it looked pretty awsesome.

 

Sleepless in Ponyville. Honestly, I have no idea what this episode could be about. Maybe Twilight complains about how sleep just gets in the way of doing more stuff, like reading or studying or whatever. So to try and make Twilight realize that rest is not a barrier, Luna magically takes away Twilight's ability to sleep. At first, Twilight loves it. But then realizes as her fatigue grows, that she really misses sleeping, not to mention dreaming. I don't know, just a thought.

 

Magic Duel. If this doesn't harken the return of Trixie, I don't know what will. More Trixie would be awesome, but I'd like more time for her to show her stuff. Maybe she's been off working on her magic, studying like crazy so she could out-magic Twilight. We need a good magic duel. And we would have gotten one from Celestia and Chrysalis if the episode had more time, I believe. But yeah, an epic magical fight sounds pretty sweet.

 

Apple Family Reunion. This sounds great. Why? Applejack. It must be. Or at least, she will be a very prominent character if it doesn't revolve around her. Who knows, she might even SING in this episode. Maybe even the Orange family will show up, despite not being exactly "Apple" family. Braeburn may show up too and I guess that'd be cool. I don't know what the conflict of this episode would be. Maybe a civil war in the family breaks out? Who knows.

 

One Bad Apple. If the reunion episode isn't Applejack-centered, this one must be! I guess it could be about Applebloom, Big Mac, hay, maybe even the Apple child that went off to start the Orange business. But I'm just going to assume this'll be about AJ. What I'm guessing is that this might pertain to a time when AJ was a "bad" filly and was mean to her classmates or something. She'd tell lies and start rumors or whatever just to be mean. And then she has an epiphany triggered by something that lieing is wrong and she embraces honesty.

 

Actually, that brings me to a tangent. I'd like to see episodes where we discover why the mane 6 represt their respective elements. Pinkie Pie we already know, pretty much. Living on a boring, dull rock farm with a family that never smiles. Then she discovers how nice it is to smile and laugh from the rainboom and shares it with her family. But I'd like to see why RD is loyalty, why AJ is honesty, why Rarity is generosity, you know what I'm talking about. Maybe we'll get some of that info in S3.

 

Regardless, I'm sure S3 will be great! The show staff has not let us down yet. Huzzah! The fun has been TRIPLED! (cuz S3, get it? and the joke with Luna? Right, not funny, sorry. http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png )

Wonderbolt Academy: Rainbow Dash episode, obviously .. Hmm.. maybe the lesson here is teamwork. Dash will probably learn that there is no an "I" in team.

 

One Bad Apple: This could be bullying episode that they have mentioned before.

 

Sleepless in Ponyville: I have no idea honestly... Flashback episode maybe?

 

Magic Duel: Twilight episode definitely.. duh... maybe Trixie will return in this?

Yeah, Spike episodes are apparently not so loved .

 

It irks me sometimes how the fandom barely look at him as a character in the show, considering how he sticks around Twilight and the rest of the mane 6 most the time. I really like to see more cool and awesome Spike moments in season 3, because right now, he suffers the same syndrome as Applejack (only far far worse).

I came up with another idea about what Sleepless in Ponyville could be about. Now what if the episode is about Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake not being able to sleep. It makes seances. They r babies and it takes time for new borns to go to sleep. Also who loses the most sleep when having kids? The parents, so Mr. and Mrs. Cake aren't getting sleep is affecting their work. Now I could be wrong about this, but this is just an idea.

All I have to say is... This season is gonna be awesome, and I'd absolutely DIE of happiness if the last three episodes were an arc!!!

 

And about the titles, I think we can trust a few of them, and Too Many Pinkie Pies is pretty much a definite (seeing as there's a synopsis and all).
