I'm the EXACT same way. I am pretty good with writing (it's pretty useful in my broadcasting minor courses) but... I completely stink at mathematics, mainly the higher level stuff (Calculus).

On the subject of music, I dislike the majority of the new songs that come out. Especially whatever is the current top 50, they all sound similar at this point barring a few exceptions.
