Wow... This is an old topic... I feel like I shouldn't even post here. But I will because I like this thread and it deserves a bump.

I like the Photo Finish. That would take a long time to make.

 

I think it would be really cool if people did the Thunderbolts, or the CMC.

I'm planing as going as Rainbowdash to the next convention that I attend. Sadly I'll be the only one since none of my friends watch the show. But I have to agree with Rainbow Fred-Burger finding a rainbow wig is hard.

I was Rainbow Dash this haloeen in a 100% homemade costume!

I never expected it to work out as well as it did, but the costume came out greate!

It might not be very clear on the piicture, but I had my hair sprayed in RD coulors. It turned in to kind of a powder over the day and, since my hair shifted quite alot, red and orange mixed. I didnt have the money to buy yellow, so I just used the natyral in my hair, wich is more brown, but my budget didnt let me do it good . The reason I used my own hair and not a wig is my hairstyle, which is prety much identical to RD, excludeing the coulor. And I couldnt find a rainbow wig.

 

I saw this pic a month or so ago here and it gave me a few ideas what to do with my hair when it grows out.

 

My favorite idea is...

 

 

...something a kin to what is up there! Long teased out hair dyed into rainbow colors... YES PLEASE!

It would be ALOT of work to get actual hair to look like that but I know quite a few people who are really into hair styling so I guess I've got a big future project for one of them!

 

Here's a more guy-ish pic I found on google if you needed a closer example that would look good on a guy.

 

 

I guess that'd be a forum of permanent cosplay if I were to get a Rainbow Dash inspired hair dye!

 

If I couldn't find someone who would be brave enough for the Rainbow Hair then I'd settle for a Twilight Sparkle look... something like...

...but you know actual hair!

So many ponies, So little time. The cosplay is great. Originally, I had thought that pony cosplay would be terrifying. With the full suits and everything. I was relieved to find that wasn't the case. Btw, I AM DIGGING THE GUMMY COSPLAY. He is so underrated :{

I am utterly creeped out by fullsuits, but that is actually pretty well made and not so creepy. I guess ponies are different than those other suits out there D:
