Guest December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 This is the view from my window! Apparently it snowed all night so it's all beautiful and white now. I live in Denmark which is temperate climate and we usually get at least a bit of snow every winter. I like snow, it looks beautiful, it's fun if you have some people to play with and it makes a great feeling of winter and christmas It's also fun to build snowmen, let's not forget that! Do you like snow? Do you even get snow where you live? Snowball battles? Snowcastles? Snowmen?

Well, yea that's the worst thing... You have to clean the pavement, that's just common decency. Other than that, just wait till it get warmer in Spring and let it melt by itself. Commander Urdnot 2,680 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 SNOW! I hate snow. Sure, it looks pretty. It's fun to play with too. You know what else is fun? Shoveling my driveway. Scraping ice off of my car. Getting snow in my shoes. Getting snow in the house. Having to put salt down so I don't slip on the ice. Slipping on the ice because I was too lazy to put the salt down. Then I have to go through the trouble of putting a jacket on everyday, and... It's just a lot of work, you know?
Drehgunklew 136 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 Bah. It snowed 10 inches of snow in 2 days. In 3 days it went from 60 degrees Fahrenheit to -14 outside. Everyone I know is sick right now. Huge temperature shift. I love snow anyway. It makes me happy :
Champion RD92 8,658 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 (edited) I love snow and snowy environments, but it doesn't snow where I live :/ I've actually really only seen snow a couple times in my life. For some reason, when I play games like Battlefield and CoD, snowy maps are always my favorite Edited December 2, 2012 by Champion RD92

Throwaway19573639385 763 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 Snow is fun, for a day. I have to cycle every day to school and the snow here isn't really snow, it's that wet pasty stuff that looks like snow, so everyone is constantly cycling over it and creating a thin layer on the road, which will freeze the day after, creating a slippery field of death that's about 2 kilometers long. Snow here is really annoying and I don't like it unless I'm at home, which then makes snow totally awesome. I'm glad that it doesn't snow a lot 'round here, it's december and there's no snow here... yet.
Evilshy 5,090 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 If snow were alive, I'd tell it to go die in a ditch. And I'd be 100% serious, unlike every other time I tell someone to die in a ditch. Why? 1. I hate being wet unless I'm naked (or at least mostly naked) and intending to get wet (like when I shower or go swimming). Snow is water that sticks to things. If you walk around after a hard rain storm, you might splash a little water onto you ankles, which is annoying, but no biggie. Snow just gets all over your shoes and ankles (or even higher, if there's enough) and it sticks there until it melts, ensuring you a steady supply of godawful water getting all over you feet and lower legs until you change your pants, socks and shoes. 1a. The feet are the worst place to be wet (to me at least). Not only is it uncomfortable as fuck, during periods of constant rain or snow fall (i.e. fall and winter), I often get Chillblains from the cold and wet. 2. Snow creates a ton of extra work and pain. I have to go shovel the our 200 foot long driveway every time it snows, which is pretty often during winter. I'm the only one in my family who can do it; my mom has bad hands from playing piano her whole life despite having really small hands and short fingers (she has to stretch her hands out a lot more than most other pianists). My sisters are both weak as hell, and my dad has back and knee problems. So that leaves me, who also ends up getting back pain after shoveling the whole driveway every other day for weeks. 3. It makes everything really damn inconvenient, cost me at least one college class, and possibly a job. See, I live on a mountain, so when it snows, it really snows. The plows only come up if there's enough, though, so there's that sweet spot between 2 and 5 inches where my POS car can't get up and down the mountain without sliding off the road to almost certain doom. This caused me to miss some tests and projects and whatnot in my Japanese class which killed my grade, and also caused me to miss an interview, after which I never really got anywhere. On top of that, there are basically months when I can;t go do anything with anyone, because even if the roads are clear enough during the day, everything freezes overnight, so I have to get home by like 6. Fuck that >_< I could probably come up with some more reasons to hate snow if it wasn't 4am. 3 Signature now 99% less edgy!
MeowLord Noraasha 135 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 Snow is awesome! Getting wet is no biggie since it's really easy to dry yourself ^^. I like to build a snowmen out of snow and enjoy snowball fights. What I don't like is that goo that lies on streets, when snow is being covered by sand and salt. It splashes, it's awful, bad looking and really annoying. Soooo snow yes that thing no! ( And when I live - big city - there's more of that goo than real snow) UNITED WE STAND If anyone feel like talking, chatting, need an advice, have a problem or just need cheering up, I'm at your service. Spatsi 151 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 I simply love snow! I know it may cause some problems, but still, I cannot imagine Xmas without it. Winter is my second favorite season, right after spring. here, in Poland, situation with snow is quite... weird. We had a lot of snow in October, but now it doesn't snow at all . weather is crazy this year. butter scotch 79 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 Argh I get only bits of snow which are thin and melt (Damn the UK it's cold but never snows!)... Note to self: Create climate altering device to make it snow on school days! Note to self: Get more materials. Did you know: 20Kv's of electricity can kill you from up to 5ft away? Gekoncze 327 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 Snow is beautiful! I like winter landscape, especially when the sun shines, because then the snow is sparkling. ^^ But of course on the other side there is a lot of trouble with it. I hate when it stuck on my shoes and leaves dirty water inside...

Windy Flicker 16 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 I absolutely adore snow! I love the way everything looks when covered by snow. Growing up in Italy, I always welcomed snow. In Salt Lake City it snows a lot during the winter! I always get at least somewhat excited about the possibility of snow in the forecast. When it is nice outside i can't get enough outdoor time, so in the winter there is a bit more down time! Signature made by: villan97. Thanks! Guest December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 I was just outside having a snowball battle with my sister. Unfortunately, it's still too cold to have good snow to make a snowman but that can wait I can totally understand people that hate snow because, I also have a kind of love/hate relationship to it. Snow is fun and beautiful but inconvenient and irritating.

Envy 6,168 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 Snow... what's that? It got up to 78 degrees Fahrenheit yesterday. Snow is nowhere to be found. Of course, I do like it. But whether or not we get it in a winter is a matter of luck. Last winter we had two inches of snow total for the whole season. The year before it was something like 30 inches, which broke a record, which was the record for the last year. Lol. So random. Everything needs more woodwind! Betez 1,734 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 I haven't gotten any snow yet... In fact, yesterday, it was 60 degrees, and it's expected to be warm all week! 2 years ago, we had 3 inches of ice. It took me 4 days to clear my driveway. Last year, it snowed once, and the next day it was all gone. This year, I really hope it snows. I love snow, and I get paid to shovel it. khaine21x3 789 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 I love cold temperatures but not snow because I'm not really into playing with them and they just end up being an annoyance when you're trying to walk somewhere. mycarhasaMoustache 449 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 I dont like snow since I live in england and we have the worst snow care in the world not enough salt for the roads not enough gritters public transport usually grinds to a halt and nobody seems to know how to drive on snow or ice in this country so traffic becomes a nightmare. I used to love snow when I was a kid but thats just another joy that becoming an adult took away from me.

Modphase 1,271 December 2, 2012 Share December 2, 2012 I don't love snow, but it would be nice to see some where I live. Southern California. It's sunny all year. I don't mind it as long as it's not hot, but I would just like to see some actual seasons. The only time when I see snow is when my family and I take a trip up to the mountains. And those times are when I have the most fun. I don't find that playing in the snow is that entertaining, unless my older brother and I are pegging each other with snowballs, but I love to ski. Not only is the scenery gorgeous as you race down the mountains, chilly wind in your face, and ice flurries swirling around you, but the sheer speed with which you can travel, using only these two thin pieces of fiberglass, is thrilling. Anyone else like to ski?
