The entire Mana Tree section of Secret of Mana. I love the game to death, but that area made me want to smash my cart on the floor.

Let's see...

- Only Human in Crysis 3. This level is already tedious enough on Recruit difficulty. On Veteran, it becomes a frustration fest.

- The Ghost Fish from Ninja Gaiden. One reason that i liked Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge so much; No. Godamn. GHOST FISH!

- The Metal Cooler Core fight in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. Why does he have so much health?!

- The Blue Shell from Mario Kart. Need i really say anything?

How about every SNK fighting game final boss fight ever?

King Ghidorah from Destroy all Monsters

I swear nobody plays that game... I guess that explains why I'm good at it. The more obscure the title I play the better I am at it... except for Cloudberry Kingdom, that game is impossible.

As for me an impossible boss for me is... none from any of the games I've played. I'm generally very good at figuring out how to beat bosses and if I can't beat them the first few times I'll get a random burst of luck that spins in my favor.

An impossible level though, The Great Bay Temple from Majora's Mask. I get so lost and it is a water level to boot.

I'll just mention bosses:

  • Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat
  • M. Bison in Street Fighter Alpha 3 (the Psycho Crusher just feels so cheap)
  • Quick Man in Mega Man 2
  • Deathborn in F-Zero GX story mode
  • Vega in any Street Fighter game
  • Marik (Yami or not) in Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour

Well There's a lot I know about, but I'll explain in detail by game.

Final Fantasy XI - Shinryu gave me problems with the drop rate, but i Intend to play by luck. Arch Dynamis Lord was pretty much painful to deal with.

Startropics 1 - Probably the Final Chapter of the game because I have to destroy the reactor without falling down into the holes, get hit by some enemies there, and dying

Mega Man 2 - Most Likely to be quick man that gave me the troubles.

New Super Mario Bros Wii.- World 7 Fortress gave me trouble to get all the star coins while I would take the shortcut in the process. 9-7 was also painful than world 7 fortress because there are piranha plants all over the stage.

Mario Kart Wii - No tracks gave me the troubles so only Blue Shells were pretty much a pain to dodge, but usually I can get lucky by using the mushrooms.

Street Fighter - Most likely to be Vega that annoyed me the most.

Maple Story - Drop Rate matters, but also economy of the game since people are increasing the prices of the items. For boss matters, I would say Damage Reflect that annoyed me most of the time. For Social Matters, Pretty much people that thinks you're one of the random people and trying to ninja-loot from the boss runs and can't be trusted.

Yoshi's Island - Most likely to be the last world of the game from SNES / GBA, and DS because it's hard to maintain the stars when i'm trying to 100% the game. Probably the SNES & GBA were the ones that gave me problems to 100% on because i'll never know what I miss so far. Stages wise, well Extra 1 was pretty much painful because I have to control poochy throughout the whole stage. Extra 3, probably the platforms that's moving clockwise.

CoD: MW2 - Probably Snatch & Grab is what I'm struggling with. Overwatch, well I lack a partner for that, but me and my brother's friend did well on veteran difficulty. I'm not very good runner on Overwatch.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Most likely to be level 1 dungeons with restrictions.

Pokemon Ranger 1 - Most likely to be the whole gameplay because I have to plan what pokemon I need to get. It's most likely that the manaphy mission is what gave me problems to clear.

Street Fighter 3: Third Strike - Gill can go fuck himself. "Oh, if you don't win the first round, you're fucked, because by the time you would have killed me in the second round, my meter's full and I can just COME BACK TO LIFE!"

New WoW bosses I hate:

Heroic Dark Shaman.

- 95%: Two of my team get dealt 100% of their health in damage after a minute. Not my problem, 'cause I'm the tank!

- 85%: Fine, shit on the ground and tornadoes that knock you up. Move away.

- 65%: A channel that targets where I (the tank) have been, causes little explosions that deal a shitload of damage, and spawn adds that pulse shitloads of damage if I get near them.

- 50%: A gigantic circle of death that explodes every ~25 seconds, dealing heavy damage to everyone in the raid

- 25%: Damage increase, lol!

Keep in mind that they keep these abilities and they stack on each other - ones at lower percents don't replace ones higher up. So at about 55% I have a severe headache, and at around 20% I'm having a mind-melting migraine. Holy shit. You can't even keep the fuckers together! You have to split them apart or else the battlefield is so clusterfucky it's a wonder Blizzard thought you could 2 tank it on Heroic.

Do you 10 man or 20 man? If 20 man, there's no excuse for trying to 2 tank it.

Has anyone here played Mushihimesama Futari? The final boss in that game is ridiculous. I mean it's a bullet hell game, but still...

EDIT: Here's a video. This game is so unfair  :(

I'm part of a 10 man team. Frankly, I don't believe it can be 2 tanked on 10. Adding in Foul Stream or the wall of ash elementals to Kardris' mix of abilities would be suicide. Movement for Haromm's DoT would also spell certain doom for whoever is afflicted by it - we send two healers up there to deal with it for a reason.

I will admit that my WoW knowledge has been greatly superseded by other games by this point, but I'm guessing Blizzard goes under the assumption of perfectly skilled and specced players when they say it's a 2 tank. If you were Method maybe you could do it, but I'm guessing Joe the Normal Raider would need more heals/tanks and a bit less DPS.

The reason the "3 tank cheese" strat is as accepted as it is is due to the Dark Shaman's very lenient berserk timer. Additionally, due to the tanks receiving stupid amounts of Vengeance during the fight, it's not like you're losing very much damage output when you have one of your DPS switch over. I as a blood DK can match the DPS sometimes, depending on my luck with Soul Reaper crits and Dark Simulacrum crits from copying Kardris' frost damage nuke that she always possesses.

Again, I don't know what Blizzard's intent was regarding that fight, or whether it was nerfed after its release. I can say though that despite the insanity of the intended design, they are well within their right to tune it that way due to it being Heroic mode.

Playing as Tira and Zasalamel in Soul Calibur III on Easy. The problem is is that when fighting Mitsurugi as Tira. I Got beaten 20 times. And then as Zasalamel. As soon as i got to the final boss Abyss. Amidst really hard battles(Including, Ironically, Tira). I Accidentally pressed the Soft reset button. I Was very frustrated. How can Soul Calibur III be so hard? Because i was playing on easy and i get beaten senseless by Mitsurugi as Tira.

Hmm with so many bosses to pick from, this is kinda hard :P

But I really hate it whenever in a JRPG/RPG the game would force you to use a character that you have never used in your party. I'll use FF7 as an example, because there are alot of instances where my party was changed for story sake. I mean yes, i understand its for story, but how am i supposed to win with a character i put no effort into?! :eww:  Why cant there be a story mission with just Vincent and Cid :(

I guess another thing would probably have to be the last boss for Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. The Shadow Queen was just something else for me... I just loved how much was a stake. For me the boss was extremely hard, alot of attacks were hard to block/counter. At the time i probably just didnt have the right equipment for the job, but oh my goodness that feeling when you win

The first level I can think of is 'Mile High Club' in CoD 4.

That crap was so frustrating to complete in Veteran to get the achievement, either running out of time or dieing constantly. I was so mad when trying to finish that level a few years back, haha. Got the achievement on 2 accounts.

Yeah, that was horrible ... and I played on PS3, I didn't gt anything for it, not even a trophy :okiedokielokie:

Twin Freaks/Funny Angry from Dynamite Headdy

He's easy enough if you take minimal damage, do a lot of damage yourself, don't die, then make a very specific jump and level flip combo then get a specific powerup and hit him enough before you get crushed by the wall you can't jump over.

Another good one I should bring up that I completely forgot until replaying the game earlier.

Freaking Witney from Pokemon Gold. Especially if you chose Cyndaquil (thankfully I went with Chikorita this time, but I still can't beat her)

Miltank used Rollout...   :(

I raged when I had to summon Ho-Oh in Pokémon Ranger. It's harder than it sounds.
