Most definitely. Personally, everything is going very smoothly, and I like the general direction society is moving towards. Sure there are a few things that could improve, but generally, I'm quite pleased.

Dont let negativity get you too much. Our media has a horrible habit of focusing on the bad. Bad things happen everywhere. At the same time equally great things happen all the time. The brony community is a great example of this, look at the good that has been done. Many people say humans are evil,this is wrong some people are indeed evil. Should we judge our entire sociaty by their actions. I dont think so.

 

Although it just has occurred to me that I don't know what society you live.

What is happiness anyway?

To say that I'm happy is to say that I'm feeling good about myself, everyone close to me, and everything I'm doing/have done. To that end, I can't be happy, but at the same time, I have my health, I have a family and friends that care about me, and I'm enjoying life as much as I possibly can, so for all that, I am happy.

 

I can't say I'm happy, but I can say I'm "content." I can't say I'll ever be truly happy, there's no possible way. But I can make the most of everything around me, and having what I have, even what I don't have, makes me happy

No. I've never really been happy; I'm pissed about the fact that I'm always held back by idiots.

My work has always been hindered by other people. I have never gotten the chance to actually see whether I'm doing something wrong because somebody's already done something to it. My dad thinks I am making up all my knowledge about science and limits me on everything I have (Ever tried to fix something with nothing?)...

I'm pretty happy. However, I live in the US. Life can be kind of hard sometimes, but stuff like mlp, these forums, and my friends usually make me feel better and appreciate life again.

I really get to go live a big dream of mine next month getting to go perform with an orchestra in a real professional orchestra concert hall. I never saw that coming. Maybe when it hits me I might resurface some of that happiness but it will only be short lived because the future remains the same.

Well, at this present moment it's just a big "meh", not happy nor happy, just roughly in the middle.

But I have noticed since I started watching MLP, I've had a more positive attitude ^.^

 

EDIT: over a year later and I can say that I'm not really happy, since I started my GCSEs, my life has become mundane and empty, I literally have no time for things I enjoy anymore.

No I can say Im not happy I work 50 hours a week and I despise my job and still have no money, my car is literally falling apart, The place where I live Is is mostly derelict empty houses for miles and miles. I genuinely believe if it wasn't for mlp and rainbow dash giving me a small amount of hope I would have probably killed my self by now.

Same here I have an occasional good day but for the most part I am either meh or stressed out/depressed much of my mood depends on whether or not I have to go to work that day. I am very frustrated and dissapointed with the way my life has turned out and can sometimes get a bit down on myself. I have plans to change this and I know they will work out but it will just take time and I am somewhat impatient. I am trying to become a professional author which won't be easy but it wouldn't be the first time the odds have been against me.

 

I will start by writing about my experiences living with Aspergers and eventually branch out into other subjects such as politics, philosophy and maybe some fiction, I have done some public speaking on it in the past and my speeches have been quite popular one such speech prompted dozens of e-mails from parents asking me questions. If I can help myself out of this rut I have been in and help others in the process it sounds like a win win to me.

 

From one musician to another good luck at the concert, I was a piano player in my high school jazz band I got to go to several concerts and enjoyed every minute of it. It has been a while since I have played so I am probably a bit rusty but can probably still throw down a beat.

I'm generally a happy person. I dont let thing get to me and when I can feel things creeping into my mind I hit the reset. I sit back and truly think of how ridiculous our own circumstance is as a planet.

Yeah mostly. I have a loving family including nieces and nephews who mean the world to me (Love playing with the kids). I was raised very sternly but never to the point of abuse and feel I have developed a good resolve and become a good person. I have low points but never to the point of saying I'm unhappy in general. High School was the lowest point emotionally for me. After that things got better.
