What You Hope to See in Future episodes

There is one thing that I just thought of today that I would love to see in the upcoming episode (Keep Calm and Flutter On).  My reaction to such greatness would be unpredictable, though I would probably get several simultaneous heart attacks.  I'll put it in spoiler tags in case any of you are avoiding the episode synopsis.

 

 

A Fluttershy/Discord duet (not for shipping purposes, dear god no, not for shipping purposes). Perhaps with Discord being his wonderful Discordy self and Fluttershy going on about how she believes that he can change.

 

 

My life would be complete if this were to happen.

Here's an idea:  The next time they watch a movie, whether it's in a theater or the library, they oughtta include a Ponytone newsreel.  It would be a spoof of the Movietone reels that showed real life news events in theaters before television was widely available.

The idea of the CMC getting cutie marks finally is very tempting but one i dont want to see happen just yet. I have always wanted more than just 3 CMC. One idea i do have for that however is that the "secret society" continues on even after Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle have theirs. We meet 3 new fillies in the future who meet like the "original" CMC did and they do the same crazy stuff to find their talents. I want to see more of Celestia and Luna (Mostly Luna). I want another "Luna" episode. Maybe to see how Luna has adjusted since returning to power. I felt they left out on that a bit even though it was explored. You dont just be gone for 1000 years and everything is all back to normal in a matter of days. I may be alone on this but i want to see more episodes which dont involve "saving all of equestria from total destruction" because it detracts away from what it was orignally. Not saying i dont like that occasionally but its just becomming too frequent in my opinion. I want to see more locations in Equestria. Baltimare, Fillydelphia, Saddle Arabia Thankfully the show isnt one of those shows where the characters age because that takes away from alot of potential ideas in the future. I did get my wish with season 3 i wanted to see more of the Apple Family. I had this funny idea that Rarity would come to hate Candence.... for obvious reasons but it would seem she has more or less moved on. A friend of mine had a good idea about the "Legion of Discord" in which all of the "Evil" characters were united with Discord in an offensive against Equestria. The original idea was to have Trixie as ringleader with Gilda and several others. Shows like this often do well when they employ subject matter that is beyond its target demographic. What do little girls really know about Empires anyway. When i was a little girl i was to busy jumping rope and playing violin .

I would love to see a background pony that we love get a side episode. *cough* NOT DERPY!!! *cough*

She/He doesn't need to be a side character or anything, just have a little side episode based on their little problemos Like Vinyl or Lyra and Bon Bon. They can even be little segments in the middle of commercial time.

I want an episode devoted to Celestia and Luna. Maybe where they learn something and they both write a letter to Twilight. I think that would be awesome.

^ I second the Celestia and Luna episode. I would also like a backstory episode, where it maybe tells the story of why Luna truly transformed into Nightmare Moon or why Discord was overthrown by Celestia and Luna. That would just be awesome. 

 

Plus, it could include a musical number a la Pony Phonic's Lullaby for a Princess or The Moon Rises. 

 

As for normal episodes, I'd like to see more Spike stuff, such as an episode where he turns into a pony and hilarity ensues. His backstory could able be expanded upon too, it's just that the one episode where they had the opportunity to truly develop Spike's backstory (Dragon Quest) was kind of wasted.  <_< Before Dragon Quest came out, I predicted that the ending of the episode would be about  Spike seeing his mom, but not being able to approach her because he realized that the mane 6 were his true family, and that he'd rather be a "pony" than a dragon. Something like that would be adorable and heartwarming.

I still want to see something regarding Applejacks parents, but maybe the comic will get to that eventually.

The comics aren't canon. Also, one of the creative team confirmed that the twin falling stars in "Reunion" were a nod that they have passed away.

 

...and now we're getting more Discord.

Looking forward to Discord returning, but i dread that the episode will ruin the character for me. The info we've been given so far reeks of a Carebear-ish plot and the wrong kind of pandering to the fans.

 

 

 

I'd love Sombra to return (and actually given some lines). Possibly in a Royal Sisters flashback, that expands on just what he was doing with the empire.

Apart from that, I want SpikexRarity sorted out (one way or another, great potential for drama and life lessons in both outcomes).

I would love a flashback episode to where Celestia and Luna first encountered Discord.  I want to see more founding-of-Equestria stuff!  Another Applejack episode with another song.  Not because Reunion was bad nor that I didn't like Raise this Barn.  I just want more Applejack cuz she is best pony. 

 

I want to visit Pinkie's rock farm.  It sounds like the best trip ever.  I mean, who wouldn't want to check out a rock farm!

Obligatory body-swap episode could have some good potential and lead to the classic lesson "You really don't know somepony 'til you take a trot in their horseshoes". 

 

Also, I want to hear the scary story of the prissy ghost who annoyed everypony with her unnecessary neatness.  AJ has thus far disappointed me with not telling it.

I'd love to see more expounding on Twilight's new status as an alicorn/princess - explaining more about what this means for her and for the world in general, how her friendships are affected, etc.  I actually wouldn't mind seeing an episode in which Twilight lets her new status go to her head and she gets carried away a bit, needing her friends to bring her back down to earth.  (Similar to how Fluttershy got carried away with Iron Will's assertiveness training.)

 

I agree I'd like to see Chrysalis come back, but perhaps not necessarily as a villain.  Perhaps Celestia tries to work out some sort of peace treaty with the changelings?

 

We could definitely use more Scootaloo + Rainbow Dash.  Dash needs to explore more of her big-sister/mentor side, and Scootaloo needs more love.

 

The Equestria Games would be awesome.

 

I'd love to see an episode explore Spike's crush on Rarity some more - have him finally get up the courage to approach her directly and explore how she might respond to that.  Similarly, I'd love to see one of the other Mane 6 (particularly Fluttershy or Applejack) become the target of another character's crush.

 

That's all I can think of at the moment.
