Anyone else into steampunk?

I came across the steampunk movement not too long ago (maybe a couple of years ago, not entirely sure). Anyways, I recently decided to have another look at it and it's really starting to interest me again, especially since my brother bought me the Steampunk Bible for christmas.

Does anyone else here have any enthusiasm for steampunk? What do you like about it? Do you make any artwork to express your interest?

Personally I like it for the machinery. Big gears turning and steam hissing have an appeal to me because of their intricacy and the craftsmanship that goes into those parts. I'm also trying to write a steampunk-themed novel based around Japan but I'm having trouble thinking of a storyline.

I'm fairly enthusiastic with steampunk myself! I'm actually also a member of various sites on it.  I go to conventions and I love the styles, be it simple or the more 'fantasy' done sort of approach ^^ I envy people who can actually make the clothes themsleves but I do buy clothes piece by piece and create my own steampunk style! Goggles~ <33 It's so hard to find others into it, so this certainly made me smile.  Steampunk bible you say? I must put that on my must-get list.  There's also a rather obscure 'genre' of Steampunk music.  Abney Park, Chris Vrenna, Doctor Steel, Professor Elemental, Vernian Process, and Unextraordinary Gentlemen are some bands/artists I like! Of course there's more though...can never think of a lot from the top of my head.  Of course most are mixed with another Genre... Vernian Process and Abney Park along with a few selected others are the only ones I recall that is considered 'pure steampunk'.

Sorry for the rant xD

I enjoy steam punk some what, but I've never really done anything with it. Does anyone know where I could buy some of the accessories? Like the goggles and stuff.

Steampunk is awesome!  I've never been really into it but the clothes, the art and the whole idea of steampunk is really appealing to me. The whole mix of machinery and fantasy is just plain badass.  If I would find one at an affordable price, I would buy a working steampunk watch.

I've known about steampunk for a while now and I do love it. I remember my mom buying a crafting book on how to make steampunk accessories so I have given thought to probably buying some clothing and attending a few conventions. The thing is though that I don't know a lot about steampunk other than it looks like classical machinery with a touch of fantasy. Still is awesome by me though.
