Personal Motto?

Does anyone have a personal motto? Or maybe a motto as a Brony? I read this one and it really hit home with me:

 

If you think something, say it.

If you believe something, say it.

If you want something, say it.

Because saying it creates new awareness.

Awareness sparks new behavior.

And new behavior inspires us all to be better.

If we speak out, others will act out.

To vote. Recycle. Save.

To think a little more.

To try a little harder.

To live more honestly.

Thoughtfully. Joyfully.

Of course, sometimes I feel strange and that doesn't apply, but it does a good deal of the time.

A motto I go by would be "Ignorance is bliss". Because if I do not know what it is I am missing out on, I cannot long for it. 

 

"Out of sight; out of mind" would also be another one. I try to forget about a lot of the "bad" things out there, because they depress me. So by not thinking of them, I assure my happiness a bit more.

You only get one chance on this Earth. Make the most of everyday you have before they're gone, because you're not going to be able to do it again. Sure, there could be something else in the next life, but it's probably going to be different than your life now, so make the most of the world around you right now.

Um... I don't really try to live by anything. No personal code or motto that I follow.

 

I guess if I were to choose something that I tend to live by, it would be: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

 

Now yes, I know this is from the bible. I'll admit I'm not a religious guy however this motto suits the way I try to look at life. Take things under a positive light and the best will come from it. Look at a situation negatively and you will likely get a negative outcome.

 

Now quite often my pessimistic side overpowers my optimistic side and I look at things negatively. This is why quite often I get negative outcomes to most things I do.

This is my motto it just really defines me as a pony I always try to push myself above my regular standards. Like everypony usually has something inside of them that wants to be released for a reason. Like if I try to level up in a game, I use a very complicated plan to go above my limits and don't give up until it is done.

Obviously I'm not the guy that made it, but a motto which catches my interest is "fortune favors the bold". Because if you're never brave and don't take risks, you'll never be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

 

A personal motto that I thought of is, "Don't overthink about stupid things". Too many times I see people overthink things unnecessarily, it brings about anxiety.
