MLP Mixed Drinks!

For those eligible...these drinks sound awesome. Recipes are taken from EqD. Have you ever tried any of these? If so, what are they like?? The Rainbow Dash one sounds great, minus the gin; too bitter for me.

I can attest to the Applejack from that first recipe. When properly mixed it is quite delicious.

 

However, want to know what happens when you don't properly mix it? Here's a little story.

 

I once tried the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 drinking game (sip every time someone says "cider")  with that first recipe for Applejacks.

 

I added a bit to much Jager when I made that one.

 

I got about 7 "ciders" in before I had to stop. *gag*

The Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Vinyl Scratch sound like my kind of mixed drinks, on the rare occasion that I would order one instead of an ale or neat liquor. I haven't read through all the ones in the spoiler, but I'll download it for later perusal. Expect me to sample everything there at some point.

Oh, and since I hail from redneckland, I don't care if anybody here meets the drinking age or not. We start young where I come from, and I'm currently 24. Just don't drive (because we also start driving during our early teens or younger) or handle loaded firearms if you've been drinking. That concludes my PSA.

I don't drink that much but after my crappy day today I am sorely tempted to drink myself into forgetting my own name, I think I will get 20% drunker with a Rainbow Dash, send drunk prank phone calls after a Spike, and finish off with a Derpy before I black out and go nighty night. All joking aside I have never been that hammered, but some of those actually sound pretty tasty.

Showed these to my mom for a laugh. She actually thought most of them sounded pretty good, and laughed out loud at the 2nd Derpy recipe, the 1st RD recipe, and the Spike recipe. I'll have to take her word for it, since I haven't tried much alcohol, and found most of what I did taste to be pretty terrible.

 

I should try some of these some time. Then again, I'm technically not legal for another 2 years, so...

It's fun as an idea though.

It's a three-day event. Most of us will probably be there for at least Saturday and Sunday. We can make it happen. And out of the multiple thousands that will be there, there should be at least several hundred who are of the legal drinking age.

Applejack itself is the name of a strong alcohol. Shouldn't need to mix anything haha.
