A Pegasus Premiere/Finale Villain?

Do you think We will have a Pegasus Villain? It seems that the only Villains we have so far are An Alicorn(Nightmare) Another creature(Chrysalis and Discord) Or a Unicorn like sombra.

Now this got me thinking why not a Pegasus Villain? I mean Sombra is just a Unicorn and was Powerful as hell. So if a normal Unicorn Like Sombra or EoS Twilight can be as strong as Alicorns then why not a Pegasus?

If you say Wings arent enough I will say this. Pegasus with mastery can Make Tornados. Or even A Sonic Boom. Imagine if you can Do Tornados in seconds or can Fly with the speed of light. Imagine A Pegasus whos Mastery over Flying is equal to Sombras or Celestias Mastery over Magic. He would be a beast. What do you think?

It's a good thought though I think this finale will be more or less a episode where the enemy is themselves.  Since we have somewhat of a synopsis released, from that, it seems if there is a villain it will be a small one.

Oh Yes. It seemed In that Play that the Uni and Peg tripe were equal and slightly above the Earth ponys. Perhabs he or she will make the pegasus believe theres racism againts them and make them go againts Celestia.

Why not? We had a Unicorn villain and Uni and Pegs seem equal. Pegasus Just dont have many evil ones.

I suppose its got to do with it being easier to write out episodes with an evil villain with magical strength then simply one who has an army or can fly around and punch you. (Or create tornadoes I guess .)

 

While I'm not against seeing a Pegasus finale villain, I do think that typically magic users have a more interesting fight sequence to watch if one happens, but I could see like I said a war general type Pegasus trying to takeover or something.

 

Now I have no idea what an Earth pony villain would do to be honest. Unfortunately Earth pony's special ability is "being in touch with nature". What that entails seems to just be growing plants. So not sure how interesting an Earth pony would be as a villain.

Actualy a Pegasus would be the Elements of Harmonys Weakness since they rely on their opponet Staying in place. Also Imagine getting punched in the stomach with a sonic rainboom. Also the Pegasus fights eould be longer than Unicorn fights. Since one Unicorn attack most likely finishes off but a Pegasus attack might not.

Also Earth ponys are like humans. They can have a Weapon or Kong Fuu

Good thinking, there hasn't been a pegasus protagonist now that I thought of it xP But I think you'd really need a good story for the villain, maybe a recently corrupted pegasus wrecking havoc outside ponyville. I just hope it's not another "Well 1000 years ago there was ANOTHER villain that no one told us about" type of story >.<

Well I can see this working, but I also see this not working. On one hoof it would be cool if they did have other ponies besides a unicorn being the villain. Maybe the villain could even have a history with the wonder bolts. He/she could have made the WB, but he/she wanted to take over the world with the WB.

 

On the other hoof, there is still some problems with the idea. Like what would his/her powers be? Any pegasus can make a tornado. It just seems weak to give this villain a power that any pegasus in the show can do. No matter how fast they can make it. It would have to be something that no other pegasus has done yet. Also why is he evil? We would just need a good story.

 

It can work, but it's would need a lot of work.

I think that a pegasus enemy would be a good idea just to prove that they can be evil too, I watched 'VIP Of the clouds' one of bronydanceparties PMV's and I think if there was an episode like that with the elements as well would be a really good episode.

A Pegasus villain would be pretty darn cool. Or perhaps a bad guy trio of each of the three pony types.

 

An, so many possibilities...

 

Anyway, I don't think Earth ponies are just "in touch with nature". In fact, given their history as farmers, they would be quite strong, physically. Which is why as a bad guy trio, they'll work amazingly.

I always figured Earth Ponies had extra points in craftsmanship. Craftsponyship. So that they'd have a keen intuitive understanding of something like masonry, carpentry, or metalwork. That nature-touch ought to have some teeth to it and not just sound vaguely wishy-washy.

So? If we think about it. Twilight is pretty much going to be a High Mage on her own by the end of MLP and we all saw how weak she is compared to Sombra or Discord.

But Rainbow Dash seems closer to The WonderBolts than Twilight is to the Alicorns or Discord. Way closer.

Sonic Rainboom is already Praised by Celestia and The Wonderbolts.

A Pegasus villain would be cool we saw the havok that Lightning Dusts tornados caused, imagine a villain that can create ones 10 Times as big can rain down hail stones the size of boulders and call down lightning like it was nothing and you have a serious threat. What would be even cooler would be to have a Dragon villain, they're worshipped as God's in some cultures for good reason.

Actually, about the Earth Pony Strength: Only Big Mac has suggested superior physical ability.

I suppose you could make a case for AJ- but despite MMDW trying to claim AJ is stronger than RD, RD has just as impressive, if not moreso physical feats. None of the species stand out in the strength department- it's just that our dear farmers are Hard Workers and thus naturally strong.

 

Pegasi have pulled carriages and the like as well. Not to mention how much more work keeping an aerial chariot would be over pulling the trains.

 

Big Mac is just a freak of nature(moving that house effortlessly).

 

 

As for Pegasi Strength:

 

Feeling Pinkie Keen had five Pegasi carrying all the crap that fell on Twilight.
