I love Twilight Sparkle. The fact that her cutie mark almost represnts a religious faith that is tied to mine, it is the star of david, no offense to anyone.  But she also reads and sometimes reading can really help people like her understand materials for future tests.

Also, I think twilight Sparkle could teach me how to read good, but reading usually gives me headaches half of the time.

Twilight Sparkle I do agree is one of the cutest ponies around. I love her with my good honest and sincere heart. I do wonder how Twilight Sparkle is doing. I hope to maybe start some reading on my own as I am trying to follow her foot steps.

Anyone else believe Twilight Sparkle's personality was inspired by MLP Generation 1 character called "Moochick". Also he has a rabbit assistance, which might seem like Angel from Gen 4. Although in Gen 4 it is Spike, a Dragon. Pretty interesting ^^

 

Unfortunately there is not much wiki on him. All i can describe him is a wise gnome who has books on stuff etc.

Halfway through a book about general relativity, myself, and enjoying the practice problems it has like crazy! It takes General Relativity - something that normally requires differential geometry to work with (math so advanced you usually don't even cover it with a 4-year degree) - and boils it down to elementary calculus and algebra by focusing on the Schwarzchild and Kerr solutions - specific equations that describe the curved spacetime around non-spinning and spinning black holes . Meant to go to sleep an hour ago but I'm having too much fun solving these practice problems in it XD

 

If you want to dive into some excellent physics books, I suggest anything by Brian Greene. "Fabric of the Cosmos" is the first of his books I read. They're all pretty great! Another great read to chew on some Quantum Mechanics is "The Particle at the End of the Universe" by Sean Carroll.

 

Another favorite of mine is "Black Holes and Time Warps" by Kip Thorne - though I can't remember how much of a good starting point that book is or how much it assumes the reader knows. Iiiiiif I remember right it doesn't assume the reader knows much, so it might be a good starting point for general relativity - awesome stuff!

 

So yeah, I'm majoring in physics-astronomy and hoping to become a career scientist (going on to get grad degree, Ph.D). So I dare say I have some good claim of being very Twilight-esque, myself

 

Even down to somewhat socially awkward, yet somehow managed to start a Brony club at my university, haha.
