I found Rares to be pretty awesome in this episode, not only was she funny and learned a friendship lesson herself, but she as also amazingly fair to Sweetie Belle.

 

After Sweetie printed Raritys diary, Rares confronted her about that, channeling her inner Shakespeare (which was pretty awesome in the first place). But instead of letting her anger getting the best of her, she calmly explained what Sweets did wrong, something that she learned in this episode, no doubt feeling guilty herself.

 

She was the only one of the mane6 that reacted with maturity and real educational measures. Even Twilight and Applejack, from which i would have thought better, reacted pretty childish and poorly.

 

Rarity acted how a responsible adult should have. She was the only one who wanted to help the CMC, instead of shunning them or getting petty revenge. Drenching them in rain, shielding oneself with a magical barrier or refusing to talk to them.

 

The last thing Wawity said in this episode was the catalyst for its happy end.

 

"Do you really think that writing nasty things and making everypony feel horrible is your destiny?"

 

Well, yeah. Rarity is an amazing sister. She and Sweetie bicker sometimes, like silblings do, but in the end they are just like apple pie...

I was up until almost 3 a.m. rooting for one of my favorite ponies in the world cup - I cheered her on for 7 and a half hours nonstop, but aye, I guess the fabulosity in Sweetie Belle was too strong. Woke up this morning to see Trixie down by 21 votes. That was 3 hours ago, though

Of course, my fandom over Trixie absolutely pales in comparison to my fandom over Rarity If this were Rarity, I would've stayed up all night to cheer her on

Seriously! Have you ever seen something like that? It's like he ripped his eyes open so hard in amazement that his face folded in itself! No other pony could cause such a thing to happen but our most lovely Rarity!

Just sharing that in the Inspiration Manifestation, I found the crying scene before/after the book was found to be very funny, the crying was just so..Rarity!

 

but still, the best moment to date is still the regret scene in Sisterhooves Social.
