I actually think that Sweetie Belle is going to grow up to be a lot like Rarity, minus the desire to fit in with high society - she'll be a singer who's a bit of a diva herself and will have a certain degree of lust for the spotlight

Hell, I can even see Rarity being the one to train Sweetie Belle in how to sing, seeing as she's a member of the ponytones and has such a beautiful singing voice herself

Yeah, best pony and best filly...

 

They are so delightyfully close to each other, but their relationship is still very realistic, one of the most realistic relationships in the show. Rarity works very hard and has not always the time and the nerves to give Sweetie her full attention, for her work is demanding. Sweetie Belle adores her big sister and wants to be like her, but she envies her a lot (Understandable of course.).

 

Even though they sometimes clash, they always will be there for each other, and they will always love each other. Rarity would give everything for her little sister, and im sure it is the other way around too.

 

Rarity had some problems understanding the needs of Sweetie, but she always sacrificed much to make up for it and their relationship truly grew a lot since Sisterhooves Social. And she always was a good sister, as we saw in the Sweetie Belles toil flashback.

 

Sweets is still trying to imitate her big sis and her talents, but when she discovers what her true talent is, singing, Rarity will support her without limit. Because she truly cares and loves her little Belle.

 

Both of them can be truly thankful to have a sister like that.

Two of my favorite pics of best sisters, I love Rarity's tears of joy and pride in the first one. She truly does love her little sister, even if she gets on her nerves from time to time. You may think I'm crazy, but I finally got a Sweetie Belle brushable yesterday (yay!) and I swear that when I set her down next to Rarity I could feel a sense of happiness and relief; like she was happy to know her little sister was safe

Now I'm gonna spend my free time today looking up older Sweetie stuff, thanks; Also pay no mind to what I'm guessing is supposed to be Spike and Rarity's kid on the right, though I will admit it might be one of the best pony/dragon hybrids I've yet seen, they usually look pretty grody even if the person tried hard but that one looks solid.

That would be Time Turner, AKA Dr Whooves, a background pony that got a lot of fan art cause he's like a ponified version of the Doctor (from the Dr Who series) . Oh and tumblr accounts. A lot of them.

Rarity would be a great mom! Affectionate, mature, generous.   Maybe she would even spoil her children a little bit too much with gifts and attention...

Even though i don't ship Spike and Rarity, i have to say that these pictures of pony/dragon hybrids and Rarimom are sweet as sugar...

nnnngh yes those pics are toothache-inducingly sweet ;__; i really love that OC half-dragon daughter of hers we're seeing in these pics -- so well-designed!

 

I agree that she'd be a great mom.  She's one of the only characters in the series I could really see as a mom, at least yet.  And then suddenly a lot of her problems she worries so much about like this dress for this client and that fabric for that project wouldn't seem like half as big a deal anymore; even with the natural stresses of child-rearing I think it'd really mellow her out and make her even more mature than she already is compared to most the cast.

I love diamond butts butt diamonds...

 

A gem is something truly special. Precious, pure, rare, complex and beautiful without limit... irreplaceable. Rarity is all these things too... Rarity is a jewel of the highest flawlessness. So what else could be her cutie mark but gems? There could hardly be something more fitting imprinted on her shapely buttocks...

 

Like a gem is her heart, full of fire, full of beauty, full of hidden depth and complexity. Some may look upon the surface and be able to only see a pretty bauble, useless other than for decoration, but there is so much more... If you take the gem into your hand, hold it against the light and spin it, you can see it... Layers upon layers, the fire that dances within because of the way the stone is cut, its intricate and unique form.

 

Gems are a gift of nature to us, something to hold dear, something that is impossibly beautiful... Like Rares is.

I did that a lot in the past, except it actually happened I remember my days of defending Rarity...every once in a while I'd reel in a marlin who was difficult to beat, but most of the time it only took a couple of posts  

 

Then again, with the claims they made against her, it really shouldn't have taken me so long

 

A lot of Rarity haters are the younger ones, particularly Pinkie and Dash fans from my experience. Not all of them, though

 

Some people can't understand the true power of fabulosity, I guess  

 

 

Also, is it bad that I'd totally shell out big bucks for this?

That is exactly what I keep saying needs to happen. A few pieces a year from WLF is not enough. Hopefully we'll see scene specific pieces out of that new 3D printing licensee. I have a list of Rarity specific moments I want immortalized in plastic. Just a few

 

1. Rarity with Element of Generosity Necklace

2. Butterfly Rarity Flying (non-lipstick pls thx)

3. Sweet & Elite Beret Rarity

4. Gala Dress Rarity

5. Sewing Rarity (w/ Glasses)  preferably in upward arms pose from Art of the Dress

6. Wet Mane Rarity

 

Is that too much to ask?
