Season 6 needs more Rainbow Dash. I'm happy to hear that she got a new episode, but that's still not enough. Let's all hope that Newbie Dash is going to be a good episode, though.

I believe it's going to be a good episode; or that there definitely will be good things about it.  I mean...  Rainbow will certainly be in it. xD  Her name's in the title. x3  I don't necessarily expect something on a par with "Wonderbolts Academy," but, at the same time, it could be something comparable.  We'll see.  No one need cross their fingers or say any prayers; it's another episode featuring our favorite in-show pony.  It's already off to a great start in that regard.

 

And someone in the fandom and on the forums always has something to complain about when a new Rainbow Dash episode comes along, but that isn't going to prevent me from enjoying it.  Hell, I've found myself appreciating Rainbow episodes that were widely panned by the fandom; "Mysterious Mare Do Well," "Daring Don't," and "Rainbow Falls" being among them.  Reading the recently released (individually) Daring Do books has me wanting to go back and watch one of those episodes in particular.  Perhaps "Newbie Dash" will be the episode I feel like returning to once season eight rolls around. < _<

Before today, I have never been particularly interested in purses.  But, while trying to find a small shoulder bag to carry money in, I ran across this purse - no, the purse - on Amazon:

 

It's...  Too large (and a tad bit pricey) to justify buying it right now just for carrying paper money and change.  But it's otherwise perfect.  Everyone who owns a purse should own this purse.  But...  Nobody run to Amazon and buy it, because I might still get it someday. xD

I thought it was cool how someone was modifying past-gen pony figures to look like current-gen ponies:

Rainbow had one of the more memorable scenes in the episode, even if it was the only one she was in. Starlight really offended her

*Starlight undergoes a "reformation" of sorts.  It's revealed that she isn't familiar with The Wonderbolts.  REFORMATION FAIL; Starlight is clearly still evil."

 

The best parts of the episode, for me, were the all-too-brief moments when Starlight interacted with the Mane Five.  The, Idunno, twenty seconds Rainbow was actually on-screen were the highlight of an otherwise kind of so-so episode.  Babe kept saying, "Trixie gonna get et," but it never happened.  *Shrugs.*

 

I like this frame, though; I wanna draw from this reference in the future.

When I heard that Funko was discontinuing their pony figures, I realized that it was time to finally purchase a Funko Daring Do figure.  More for Babe than for myself; though I do consider myself a fan.  I was instructed as to where and how I should place Daring's figure.  Guess where she ended up? x3

 

 

 

 

 

Daring and Tank are the only non-Rainbow figures to appear in my Rainbow Dashrine.  I mean, if you don't count Cthulhu, Son Goku, Mario, and whatever other stragglers I haven't found a place for yet. ^ ^;

I've recently started on a new banner project featuring Rainbow Dash.  I doubt that staff would put it up straight away (and they could always decline it outright), but I'm gonna try to have it done before the new episode airs this weekend anyway.

Hell, I'm gonna post it in the RDFC:

 

Anyone else remember Sonic Rainboom?  Yeah?  Remember how we saw a side of Dash we hadn't expected?  The side of her that experienced performance anxiety that got in the way of her incredible flying ability?

 

That's what I'm seeing in this trailer.

 

And I remember how Sonic Rainboom - still, in my opinion, one of the best episodes in the entire series - ended on an emotional high point when Rainbow, who had been contending with nervousness and a demonstration that wasn't going her way, sped to the aid of her plummeting friend and saved both Rarity and several Wonderbolts.

 

So that's what I expect to see in the new episode, proper.

 

Also...  A lesser pony would have ended up in the hospital after what happened in the sneak preview.  Several times over.  All it took to put Soarin (who's been a Wonderbolt for six seasons) out of commission was a simple snag; I bet Rainbow flies away from this ordeal.

P.S. Rainbow is better than just a Wonderbolt; she's a hero.

We all know Rainbow better than that. I'm very surprised Spitfire didn't kick her out, and even more surprised Rainbow didn't just throw in the towel.
