Motion Spark 7,807 March 10, 2013 Share March 10, 2013 I am quite the opposite of you guys lol, for many years I thought that McDonald's fries were the best but then I tried Burger King's fries and Carl's Jr's fries. And I have to go with Carl's Jr's, I just loved them and I ate in that place like only twice lol. The worst fries are without a doubt from KFC, I always order mashed potatoes with gravy. They also do sweet potato fries, which I'm normally not a fan of, but theirs are really good! Worst fries... Took a lot of thinking, but gotta be KFC. Their fries were always bland and greasy. I know you're thinking, wait, you just said they're the best.... That is true, they were the best, but they recently changed their fries (not sure if they changed in other countries but they now are somewhat similar to chips (English chips, essentially really thick fries), they are terrible. A few years ago they brought a new style, Waffle fries, but they don't taste like the old Homestyle ones did. =( I don't know what fries I would consider the worst. As for the worst, probably the fries at Arby's near the Duluth mall. For the record, Arby's burgers are okay, but the fries are so salty it's just unbelievable and makes my eyes water. Ew.The last time I had Chick-Fil-A (which was a few years ago), their fries were incredibly soggy. They taste very fresh, crispy, and can be mixed with a wide variety of old Southern-style dips. A box of these bad boys is a meal by itself. Only available during the baseball season. The baked fries Mom and I make at home. Instead of deep frying them, we bake them. We hand-cut the potatoes to equal sizes, spray them and the pan with cooking spray, lay them down on the pan, and pop it in the oven to bake. Golden brown and fresh without the extra oil. Had them twice, and they're easily fantastic! The worst are the three main fast food chains: McD's, BK, and Wendy's. Not only are they overly salty, but also full of dangerous chemicals that really slow down the oxidation/rotting process. Keep away!
