Many consider it to be Green Days best song and they might not be so wrong about it.

 

It is very catchy and has a very clear message. It's about Paranoia and Panic attacks, from overwhelming stress, while you scare and trick yourself and then you go into a trance like state, where you talk about significant and insignificant topics all mixed in a psychotic rant.

 

Also, darn Billy Joe Armstrong looked still young in this vid.

Awesome sauce, great that you buy the CDs. I think Green Day get's a bit too much hate nowadays, just because songs like American Idiot or Boulevard of broken dreams are a bit overplayed. I should listen to 21st Century Breakdown again, which in my eyes is their most mature Album in their career.
