Fluttershy, between her job as a caretaker and Element of Kindness, is a world class their on the run from a crack team of Canterlot investigators who are coming closer to uncovering her secret then ever before.

 

Then a crime lord or whatever kidnaps the Mane Six and forces Fluttershy, only with Spike and Angel's help, to pull off an extremely dangerous and impossible heist: the Crystal Heart.

 

Hell, I might have to write this, I'm so excited!

 

Holy crap, please do if you have the time, this actually sounds like an excellent story that I would read in a heartbeat. But you know... only if you really want to.

Have it figured out as to why Fluttershy has the dresses:

1. Twilight’s dress was needed for the aliens who needed a proper map. She had to reposition the stars because of the failed 2012 planetary alignment and it had be be adjusted for stellar drift

2. Applejack’s Dress just needed cleaning after she borrowed it to hide all her dead bodies in the apple orchards, that way to throw every pony off the trail and lead them to believe it was Applejack all along.

3. Pinky Pie’s dress was taken because there are starving critters in Equestria and she’s WEREING FOOD!

4. Rarity’s dress was taken because she used the wrong freaking stitching again

5. Rainbow Dash’s dress was taken because…. Well because she was in it.

But, because she has RD's scent (do ponies have a strong sense of smell?) RD will be Fluttershy's first victim! DUM, DUM, DUM!!!

Seriously tho, the theory of her keeping them there because her friends don't have room/just can't is probably true. It's the only logical explanation I can think of.

Fluttershy simply created copies. Or she borrowed them for testing to takeover the world. Maybe she'll enchant the dresses to use as her slaves as she takes over Equestria.

Well I cant really see any indicated explanation in any episode. My geuss is its a case of the production team needing something in Fluttershy's closet and just using already made pieces. Any theory that can be offered is almost pure speculation on my part. We know Rarity trusts Fluttershy so maybe she let her keep the dresses? Though that brings up the question of why? Unless Im missing something.

I think that she just offered to keep them for the others and rarity. It's probably also the developers being lazy not wanting to make new dresses .

So, today I was watching Bird in The Hoof for the first time and I noticed something weird..... Why does Fluttershy have Twilight and Pinkie's dress in her house?! Any speculation? Mine is that Fluttershy is a doormat and offered her house to store their extra crap.

She probably didn't even offer it. The others probably just asked her and she was incapable of saying no.

...although I'd imagine Angel would've thrown them out...maybe she DID steal them...
