I feel like you'd be something like a Tropius.   Kind of mellow, you know, goes with it, but also willing and capable of doing what you want. Plus you get bananas on your neck.

To be honest, I forgot I made this thread years back... go 2013 me? :confused:

 

On topic: 

As I do not know you, judging by your profile I am inclined to say you are a Rowlet! I always envision owls as being wise and well-read, and with your interest in botany I don’t think anything else would fit besides a grass owl!
