Thanks. I'm up now (well, I might be gone by the time you read this), but I fell asleep at around 21:00 and woke up at 02:30, and that's apparently enough sleep for me.

I work at Dairy Queen -- only on the weekends, really. I work fully...time...ly (English isn't made to be friendly to adverbs) I'll work full-time as an SMT Feeder Loader, as of Monday this week.

And a whole bunch of other stuff that happened, like putting the world’s most corroded penny in the world through a pennysmasher, and getting a smashed penny in the process without destroying the machine, and riding the skytram without dying in the process, and other stuff involving road trips that I know Bolty would elaborate on.

And oh my god, peoples, do you know how megalomondusly dark the everyevery is when I got up? I got at 02:50, left at 04:50, and it didn’t take until 07:00 for the sun to be even visible in the sky. It wasn’t until 10:00 that I actually got in. My little brother was also a part of the excursion.

And yes, there were, indeed, zebra-giraffe-horses (okapis, according to John Green). But alas, no decapitated penguins; I’m sure they’re at Sea World or something.

Last time I visited the zoo was four years ago, and at the time, polar bears were my favourite animal. Now I switched it in favour of the penguin. Once again, no penguin, but there were a lot of birds... And ducks. A whole lot of ducks. And flamingoes.

The San Diego area was where I spent the first years of my life. Then we did a butt-ton of moving. But still, I remember half the crap that happened there. The other half of said crap was either renovated or demolished, because last time I was there was four years ago and the associated highways in the area were under a butt-ton of construction.

Now that the roads are working again, I was a bit surprised to see one of those highways that have one of those movable medians. Can't find the link at the moment...

Oh yeah, it was foggy as hell. I couldn’t see a thing, not even 100 feet in front of me. Is San Diego that notorious for fog? It’s been a million years since I’ve ever been there, so I wouldn’t know for myself, since I only lived just north of the area.

Since when does 20 years ago mean a million years ago? Heh heh...

But something I was quite interested in that I still have a fair amount of interest in is the power lines and highway infrastructure. Power lines, hence the image of SoCal power lines, but highway infrastructure, ho ho ho, that’s… Not supposed to be Santa Claus, that’s just a personal interjection, but I wanted to take pictures of the highways there for reference for a later personal project; yeah, let’s leave it at that.
But yeah, wasn’t back home until it was far past evening. Quite tired, but I still have a bit of energy to do a few tests with something that has to do with highways. What that something is is a secret.

I was hoping to tap into a Wi-Fi hotspot, but that didn’t happen, as I couldn’t find one.
