The only bands that should have punctuation in their names are the Fire! Orchestra, Sunn O))), letlive., and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Killwhitneydead. and fun. can have their periods when they make something I want to listen to.

"emo" bands like Paramore.

While I dislike Paramore, they don't really have anything to do with the emo sub-culture, not just their looks and music, but their fans aren't even emos.

Dubstep is dead. Completely and utterly dead in my opinion. The americans ruined it with their Brostep crap, overshadowing the genre which led to the downfall of several popular artists. Skream and Benga aren't even doing Dubstep anymore, Loafeh and Mala are just dicking around and the few Dubstep artists that remain doesn't get their music promoted properly (I'M LOOKING AT YOU TECTONIC RECORDINGS, PROMOTE AUTHOR PROPERLY YOU HALF DEAD FUCKERS)

You know what? All of the chill genres of electronic music tend to get overshadowed, IDM got overshadowed by the Rave scene blowing up EDM artists during the 90's, the only really well known IDM artist is Aphex Twin and I have no idea what the fuck he's doing right now. Speaking of Aphex Twin, Skrillex and Daft Punk have actually noted him as an influence.

I won't say comment on their music, but I and many others have many, MANY reasons to hate them, specifically Dahvie Vanity. Read this if you haven't already.

Dahvie is the main reason why I hate BOTDF, and this is coming from the guy who usually doesn't give a crap about a band unless their music is good.

For the "new" Dying Fetus music videos, "From Womb to Waste" and "Second Skin", I like the videos, but I perfer if Kevin Custer directed the new Dying Fetus music video. He already did two videos for DF (Shepard's Commandment and Your Trechery Will Die With You) in both those videos, ther was an equal amount of bass, guitar, and drum coverage and really good camera direction. For these videos, it seems that the guitar gets too much attention, even for some parts when you can hear the bass over the guitar. That's just my thought, I'm not saying the videos are bad or anything like that, although I think the video for Homicidal Retribution was pretty bad. Tha camera direction for that one was all over the place and it was too close for comfort

-I don't care what type of music it is, as long as it's good

-I like Punk Rock (not really Screamo though)

-I think screamo is pretty stupid (where's the actual song?)

-I personally don't like rap

-Eminem's songs aren't good at all

-I wish todays rappers would actually rap

-I like Coldplay (only some of their songs though)

-I like dubstep

Punk rock ≠ Screamo. Screamo came out of hardcore, and happens to be a genre I'm particularly fond of for it's emotion. As for the "where's the actual song" jab, don't try and tell me that this isn't a song.

I like this song! :3

I think what I meant is that I don't really like screamo that much, but I mean I guess it really depends on how it's put. But love the song!

KAMEHAMEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Screamo is a very misused term, and I can't stand it. Bands like I Hate Myself (who you just heard), Envy, Circle Takes the Square, and Orchid are all seminal acts in the genre, and a good way to familiarize one's self with the genre.

Just remember, kids, if it has screaming in it, it's not always screamo.

If all of that's true, I just lost any liking I had for BOTDF's music. I mean, seriously, what the hell is wrong with him? *sigh*. I'll never understand people.

Screamo is a very misused term, 90% time it's used incorrectly. I also dislike when people say "I hate death metal/screamo". You can't compare the two genres, one is metal and the other is hardcore. Some people just want to watch the world burn.

If anyone knows who they are, I think Design the Skyline are a good band. Most people hate them. So, there's my unpopular opinion

Swedish death metal is better than Norwegian black metal. I enjoy both but I think it's safe for me to say that I enjoy bands like Unleashed and Entombed more than Mayhem and Darkthrone, even though I really like Burzum.

This is actually really fun to listen to for some reason:

Anyway, more opinions:

Even though I'm a fan of them, I think some of Coheed and Cambria's songs are actually kinda boring, I feel like they would be better if more of their songs were more like "Welcome Home" or "Domino the Destitute". I like their songs that feel more epic and stuff.

Train of Thought is the best Dream Theater album.

Rage Against the Machine's debut album is the best album of the 90's that I've heard.

Ashes of the Wake is the best Lamb of God album.

Anyway, onto the unpopular music opinions... I don't have any! My opinions are pretty much the same as everyone else's.

I don't think you've heard many 90's albums.

How is that unpopular? I like to listen to it for giggles. Like, how can you not listen to it because it's funny?

Nobody can deny that it's a great album, but there are a lot of albums from the 90's that are faaaaar better than RATM's self titled album. Just saying

My opinion: You Fail Me is one of my favorite Converge albums. Not sure why everybody dislikes it so much :/

Yeah, well I don't even have that many 90's albums in my collection, plus it's not like I can take the time to listen to every single 90's album in existence lol

Although I just remembered that Rust In Peace is from 1990, that's a great album too.

I can name a dumpload of metal album's from the 90's that are better than Rust in Peace. And I mean a DUMPLOAD. It's not even Megadeth's best album, PSBWB and SFSGSW are both better.

Well that's just your opinion...I know for a fact that the majority of Megadeth fans would say Rust In Peace is their best. I hear it all the time.

I honestly hate Pop music it makes me want to tear my ears out. D:

I LOVE metal, rock, acoustic, some electronic (Owl City), & indie pop (He is We) :3

Bro, hating pop is very popular. And didn't you just say you liked indie pop? Excluding The Smiths (because I love them to death), indie pop is well... poo. When you say "I LOVE metal" do really like metal or do you just like Metallica, Megadeth and Iron Maiden?

I like some of their songs, but overall, all their stuff sounds all the same kind of, and a lot of their songs are really boring in my opinion.

He didn't imply those bands aren't Metal, but there are so many people who go all like "METAL IS MORE IMPORTANT TO ME THAN MY PARENTS" and can only mention those bands
