I just came from seeing Monster Trucks. Amazing movie, especially if you're a car/truck fan like me!

Rogue One!  Honestly, one of the best films I've seen in theaters.

"I could have been happy above if I'd never donned the copper carapace and dipped my head beneath the waves to hear the muddled man-made sounds. Distorted and dreamlike droning. The whir and thrashing of a distant propeller, the tumultuous thundering thud of fogbound freighters. Mud underfoot, no sights, except the grasp of a diver's trained hand, dreaming of distant lands knowing all the while this is what I love, not the blue skies and wondering faces above. Canvas, rubber, brass, copper, and glass. Leather and lead, mud and sweat, heaving around in dark, damp depths seldom seen by most yet talked about by all. As if a sunny, happy place where mermaids and seahorses play and chests of gold are lain bare, untarnished by salt and time for all to grasp who are bold enough to go below..." -"Deep Sea Diver", Steven L. The last movie, I saw was Transformers Prime Preadcon's Rising, which was basically the TV movie finale, towards the series.

It was pretty good, and I am a little sad that I finished such a great series.

But it ended on good terms, so that's alright with me.

I just came from seeing xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

That movie was freaking awesome, especially in IMAX! Did I mention I saw it for free?

I saw La La Land the other day and thought it was simply brilliant. Terrific acting, fabulous music, stellar direction and choreography, and a wonderful love story at the heart of it all. A love letter to the classic musicals of yesteryear perfectly revitalised for contemporary audiences, this is a splendid romantic musical for old and new generations alike. I'll be rooting for this one at the Oscars.

I watched The Bye Bye Man with my boyfriend last week Sunday. It wasn't bad, but not good either. The scares felt generic like you know what's going to happen already, and there were too many unanswered questions. If they were to make a sequel I hope that maybe they will shed some light on the entire lore of this demomic being or something.

I watched Children of the Corn on Netflix with a few friends last night. I'm not all that into the horror genre but hey, this was based on a short story by Stephen King that I have enjoyed in the past so I actually liked it. The kid that plays Isaac sounds so much like Zim from, well, Invader Zim; I kept thinking of the resemblance whenever he spoke.

Apparently they made a bunch of sequels but I wonder if they are even worth watching. Maybe I'll watch the Children of the Corn: Genesis one that is also on Netflix.

Labyrinth- if you can count re-watching. If it must be a "new to me" movie then I believe the last movie I watched was Finding Dory. :D

Anyways, Sherlock season 4 finale.

10/10.

One word. Moriarty

Amazing plot twist and the setting of it. It good to know more about the Holmes' family background.Crossing my fingers for season 5. (screw Marvel studio).
