Valhalla Rising is the ultimate pleb filter. I was in awe. My mom was able to grasp the basic concepts (and as a photographer, she loved it just for the cinematography) but my uncle was pissed that he "wasted 90 minutes" of his life. Even after I explained everything after he still thought those ideas should have been explicitly obvious. Definitely not a movie for everyone.

Watched "Dave made a maze" while working. It was interesting and very quirky... VERY QUIRKY... But overall I enjoyed it but not sure if I'd recommend it though.

Suicide Squad. Not as bad as everyone said, I really have always preferred marvel comics over DC, and I did not like the prior DC movies for the most part, but this one was worth watching. I recommend the extended cut, as my friend who saw both said that the extended one we watched together made way more sense. If I had any complaints it would be that there is way too much music, and way to generic, like crap off the classic rock station, and eminem music was in the movie too which is just really tacky. Is this 1999? Are we in a fist fight in the wendy's parking lot? if not then Eminem's music is not appropriate.

Django Unchained

Overall, an intense, funny and rewarding watch that went a little too long for its own good. I could've cut 30 minutes off this film and make it end on the same page as it did. It was shot well, had awesome music and great performances by all (except for Tarantino himself... WHY WERE THERE AUSTRALIANS IN THE SOUTHERN USA?)
