I've seen so many movies and usually when people ask me about a blockbuster, I've seen it. However, for some reason I had missed this one but I am very happy that I now have seen it.

The Usual Suspects (1995)

Such a great film. I loved it from the beginning to the end, and the ending! Such a masterpiece.. ;-; *nerdgasm*. I think I even may have a new favorite movie scene. My only complaint is that it was too short but I guess you can't have everything.

Boyhood. I just finished watching it today, and while I am not going to describe it as "epic" or "a masterpiece", it just so happened to not rub me the wrong way. I'm probably not a similar young man as Mason, but I can still relate to some degree. And even if I don't, well, lots of us can hardly relate to superheroes and stuff. This portrait of a fictional but hopefully realistic example of an American boy is not supposed to be representative of everyone's childhood! But I really do like the dialogue.

Most of it felt natural, where people don't get the chance to say stuff that we as the audience want them to say, because, while the characters are in a movie, they are not quite in movie-land where they get to come up with always good speeches.

But they do have some good movie-style dialoguey scene speeches moments sprinkled throughout the last third or so of the film.

This really could be a contender for best movie of the year... This movie was obviously a gamble, but I'd say it paid off. Hopefully this movie will survive the ravages of time and will be a piece of work that can be shown to people generations from now and still be good.

I saw Chinatown today. Good movie.

All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

The last movie I watched was "Tusk" which I watched last night, that movie was very strange and made me feel dirty. It was alright but very uncomfortable to watch.

I saw that movie, and there was something that really confused me.  I still haven't been able to figure it out.

What did the bad guy do to him, exactly? It was clear that he was surgically altered in some ways. But it also seemed like he was wearing some sort of suit made out of the flesh of other people.  He had no hair, so I would think that he must have been wearing something over his head. But when there is a close up on his face, he doesn't seem to be looking through eye holes in a mask. It was more like the whole thing is part of him somehow.  The rest of the movie I was just thinking to myself: "how does that work?"

Funny enough i watched this last night, I can't almost believe Kevin Smith was behind this... Possibly one of the strangest movies I've seen in awhile.

I saw Citizen Kane today and it was great. I'm not gonna tell you if the movie revealed or didn't reveal what "rosebud" means.
