A Canterlot Wedding thoroughly blew me away, so I was probably just in awe by every single thing that happened. Jaw dropped, and what not. And of course, I mean that in the best way possible.

But seriously, seeing Twily cry makes me cry inside. sad.png

My exact thoughts on each of the scenes.Honestly,I blame Plot Stupidity for the majority of things happening in that episode.

First scene: "Wow.What a bunch of s****y peop--ponies.You would think that at least AJ and them would stand by her,but they just up and left her while giving her the cold shoulder. It's not like Twilight was right about one thing when everybody else wasn't or anything beforehand as well..."

Second scene: "Oh gee, looks like Cadence was actually a changling after all!Didn't see that coming from a mile awa--HELLFIRE!DARK FIRE!NOW GYPSY YOU WILL BURN!CHOOSE ME OR YOUR PYRE!BE MINE OR YOU WILL BURRRRRRRRRRRRN!"

Third scene: "'Oh noooo! It looks like Twilight was right in the first place after all!Maybe if we all just took a moment to think and realize that Twilight was also right about Nightmare Moon,we could've prevent this great tragedy!' Yeesh, you'd think the b****y attitude and the green magic aura Cadence had would be a dead give-away,but noooo...I swear, bronies who would want to live in Equestria are crazy and forgetting that they have the worst security ever.I'd rather live with the Nazis, honestly."

Yes,I am a terrible and cynical person when it comes to the plot of the show.If I were watching with an audience,I'd be the guy who'd ruin everything by pointing out the flaws within the plot.Yet I still love the show and watch it whenever.

What really got me, was why no pony gave Twilight the benefit of the doubt. I mean even Princess Celestia, was harsh to her. I mean I could tell that something wasn't right with Cadence, especially after you see how Twilight remembers her. Even though everything worked out in the end. I was just surprised how everyone doubted Twilight.

I reacted to this scene the same way I react to any "sad" scene, with a completely stoic expression and zero emotion. I'm usually not the kind of guy who feels sad about stuff, especially stuff in TV shows and movies.

Seriously, I wanted to break through the computer screen just to hug her. Even if she wasn't my favorite pony, I'd still do it. Nopony deserves to be abandoned like that, even if they didn't think things through very well. DAMMIT, guys! At least listen to what she has to say! Some friends. These are supposed to be the ponies who know her and understand her the best. They should really know better.

And how many of them actually apologized at the end?

The first scene mentioned here really hit home for me. I've lost friendships, even family members over pointing out the truth, which sure enough, was proven to be true later. Yes, Twilight could have been more subtle about it, but ultimately, she did speak the truth. No one should be faulted for speaking the truth when it really needs to be said.

I suppose what really gets to me is how I know I would do exactly as instructed... I would walk away from the wedding, never speak to any of them again, and watch the kingdom burn without remorse, for I would know I did what I could. Maybe I'm cynical, but you saw the reaction the rest of her friends gave her when she first returned with Cadence: they had already totally abandoned her for the spotlight of being a bridesmaid.

I admit, Twilight is far stronger than I am in these matters. She's much more forgiving than I am... though it may have something to do with how my best friends--the ones I knew for years didn't give me an inch when it came to giving second chances. Funny thing though... later on, when those same people asked me why I couldn't give them a second chance, I told them I had learned from the best. I still refuse to speak to them, despite receiving several contact attempts.

Scene 1)  Kinda saddened and pissed off.  I understand every pony being caught up in the wedding, and I get her brother turning on her, but her friends leaving her like that was pretty cold.  They were apologetic about it afterwards, though, which to me is enough.

Scene 2)  HO-LY SHIT!!!  Thank god the next episode came on right away;  if I had to wait a week I probably would have gone insane from the anticipation.

Scene 3)  See my first two words in reaction to Scene 2.  I LOVED Chrysalis instantly.  She is still my favorite character design in the whole series.  The decrepit looking body with the swiss cheese holes in the legs, the stringy, translucent mane,  and the insect like wings, she looked like a cross between a dragonfly, a cadaver, and a piece of rotting wood.  And yet while still feeling rather disgusting, she still comes off as queenly and elegant.  Loved her from the beginning.

1st Scene: I kinda felt sad for her, everyone left her with a disappointment  even Princess Celestia and her own brother whom she hasn't seen in a number of years. But honestly, I would of done the same to her >.< as harsh as it was, accusing the bride for something unbelievable before her wedding day would be pretty insane.

2nd Scene: I kind of saw this coming, at first it was a bit of a surprise to me seeing that 'Cadence' fooled her and everyone else but I just had a feeling she would eventually get the only person who saw the evil inside her.

3rd Scene: Just crazy... This was like MLP's biggest surprise in the entire series so far for me. I was even more surprised that Celestia was defeated and I just dislocated my jaw from the intense drop after seeing this scene.

Ok, things suddenly went quiet, too quiet for my liking. Time to go full throttle on this thread. How'd this scene make you feel?!

"Oh man, I wonder how this will be resolved! Wait, did she say 'changeling'? Why would a -- OH MAI GAWD THAT IS THE MOST AWESOME BUCKING THING I'VE EVER SEEN."

It still stands as one of my favorite scenes from the show.

My initial reaction was kinda a confused face in what just happened.

Then it kinda was a feeling of depression realizing that Twilight dun goofed.

And finally when Chrysalis sent Twilight to the underground cave thingy I blurted out "Well, Sh*t"

And then I went upstairs to clean up cat puke.

Oh, pfft, yeah, loyalty.  Way to go Dash.

And kindness?  Yeah?  No, Flutters.

You all in fact.  Seriously.  Elements of Harmony my butt.

Couldn't you have even given her a chance?

Like maybe...I don't know, talk about it with her?

Instead of just turning your back on her.

You know.  The element of magic.

The one who knows something about everything.

Who knew about Nightmare Moon?  And saved you from Discord?

And YOU Celestia.  YOU!

You teach her about friendship.

And later you say its important to trust your instincts.

You're an amazing teacher.

Of course, I still love them all xD

Well, I had multiple reactions to this certain scene.

"Oh come on, she isn't lying! Give her a break, don't deny those eyes!"

"Forever Alone Sparkle" I would have said, but in this situation, ehhh, no.

First scene - I think Shining Armor was a bit more excusable as Chrysalis most likely used her magic to make him think she was healing him. However, when the other 5 gave Twilight the cold shoulder, I found that very harsh as they did not know Cadence personally and only seemed to care about their reputation. Celestia was no better and I thought she would have noticed something stange in Cadence's behaviour.

Second scene - I was kind of expecting something bad to happen to Twilight but not a ring of fire that buried her underground.

Third scene - One of my favourite transformations in cartoons.

Well, basically, my heart nearly died from the sight of Twilight's tearful face. :(

I never expected something like that to happen before I saw that episode.

I was like "Right to my feels" because this is why I started liking Twiley more. Because they treated her like if they were pricks. Even her brother.
And I can relate to it.

DASH WOULD NEVER LEAVE HER ANYWAY.

Same here, . That episode reminds me of the broken friendship with my few best friends (who were the closest people to me) and family members because I pointed out the truth to them but they were mad at me for being such a "spoilsport" or because they assumed I was being "jealous over the matter" of something that happened when I pointed it out to them what was actually true.

So, that's why I cried watching the episode (even if has a happy ending because that happy ending only happened in the show, not in my life in reality); in which, Twiley is luckier than me.

I won't lie that scene tugged on my feels and made me cry, but i think it was more the story behind it and the song in the episode that drew the picture on how close twilight and shining armor were, (I know isn't all about the scene)

@@True Rarity, and you know that Shining Armor acted that way because he was already been brainwashed by the fake Princess Cadance, right?

Oh.

I didn't know that.

His eyes were normal...

I guess Cadence had used a spell to make him think she was helping him.

But I don't know if he was brainwashed...

@@True Rarity, at first, from the outside, his eyes looked normal because at that time, I think Queen Chrysalis's power was not yet that strong because she needed to feed on more of Shining Armor's love for Princess Cadance. And during the wedding, Shining Armor's eyes completely turned glowy-green because she managed to achieve her goal (his love for 'her' who was disguised as Princess Cadance).

For the first scene, I thought that Twilight deserved it.  You don't just burst into a wedding rehearsal proclaiming that the bride is evil.  Also, I didn't really see it as her friends giving her the cold shoulder, I saw it as more that they were giving her space.

The second and third scene didn't really affect me though, but that's because I watched those episodes long after they came out and I had pretty much spoiled the twist for myself.
