This is not what your OC would do. Its what you would personally do given this information.

 

the admins/mods send you a secret PM. (we all get one). They have actually discovered a portal to an alternate dimension/universe that leads to Equestria. Its a one way portal, but they can communicate with the other side by laying a communications line through. Their best guess is the portal will stay open for another few months.

 

All who pass through the portal become ponies of their choice (the portal responds to you desire, so if you really want to be a pegasus, then you will be). The portal cures all disabilities, deformities and birth defects. But remember it's one way. Feldo and Zoop have already gone through along with a few others. Lauren Faust and her family went through.

 

The portal is located on a farm outside a small Iowa town. It will be open until the end of summer. Zoop reports Equestria is just like the show, there are no changes that he can see. You are requested to keep this secret, but all the bronies will get this PM.

I'd go through with my guns, take over, and install a totalitarian regime wherein I am the ruler. I will beat back the ponies using my superior human weaponry and tactics. Since ponies will not have seen these weapons, I will have the advantage. I'd like to see friendship try to outpower several attack helicopters.

 

I'd strike a deal with some defense contractor to supply weapons and vehicles and other supplies through the portal. I'd be a unicorn so that they would retain their use. I would then use my new found power to build something not unlike the Citadel in Half-Life 2 wherein I will rule Equestria forever.

 

I would harness unicorn magic via mind control to power a large core that produces electrical energy to my defenses, like auto turrets. I would live in luxury and nobody would be able to do anything about it.

 

I may even augment myself mechanically to make myself more powerful. I would have infinite power and control over everything and every living organism that is there. 

 

MWAHAHAHAHAHAA
