She also has plenty of places to explore about her. And her color scheme is pretty awesome to.

 

I wouldn't flat out cry though, I don't think I cry enough to cry over this, but I'd be pretty sad I think. Atleast for a little while.

I'd be angry at the writers. It one of the deal breakers for me. It's bad enough that she seems to be inferior to Celestia in the hierarchy, but if they took her away (or Celestia, or any of the Mane 6) it'd break the show, in my opinion.

It would be sad to see her go but it's not like she is playing any essential role in most episodes anyways. I can think of like three episodes where Luna does anything but remain in the background and even of the episodes she appears in, she barely gets any lines or time to be shown in any of them except for the Halloween one (Its name has escaped my train of thought).

I'd personally be disappointed. Luna's a great character with a lot of potential, and in fact the most screentime she's gotten in the show was a single episode and a few minor appearances in others (not counting Nightmare Moon)  If anything, I think she deserves a few more episodes circling around her. After all, she and Applejack are my best ponies

As much as I admire Luna, I honestly wouldn't feel bad if they took her off of the show. If you ask me, Luna is the kind of character whose personality and various traits are up to you to decide for yourself; you can form your own headcanon and imagine Luna however you'd like. That's arguabely the best advantage to having such little screen time. In that respect, I believe that they should not have done anything with her after the pilot episodes and that they are just taking away the ability to form your own interpretation and headcanon by doing so.

 

This is just on opinion though, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion on the matter.
