I don't get why people would listen to bands like Nickelback and Creed in the first place, they're just bootleg versions of Pearl Jam. 

 

Well, I like Pearl Jam a lot more than Nickleback, that's for sure. But it doesn't mean I can't like Nickleback too. I mean, I don't mind the Black Crowes, and they are a blatant ripoff of Aerosmith. I think bands like Nickleback take stylistic cues from better bands like Pearl Jam, but they still can stand on their own fairly well. (Read: FAIRLY well, they still aren't as good as the original inspiration)

Oh also, anything that the Neptunes have produced, no matter how bad the song is. Mainly why I like some songs off Justin Timberlake's first solo album. 

 

If you don't know who The Neptunes are, it's basically the band N.E.R.D. as producers instead of a band.

Well for one I really really love Justin Timberlake's music, I have his last two albums in their entirety. I'm also a very big Linkin Park fan as well. My favorite album by far of their's is A Thousand Suns.

I have every single Green Day album to date, save Uno, Dos, and Tre, thanks to a convenient box-set that went on sale before Uno came out. And that includes 39/Smooth and Kerplunk! And my huge liking of American Idiot could be considered guilty pleasure to some...

 

Let's just say I wouldn't want some hardcore purist seeing my CD collection and spotting artists like Tool, Pink Floyd, and Rush along with Green Day, Owl City, and *gasp* DragonForce.

OH MY GOODNESS. Mine is exactly the same. XD I fell in love with Green Day when I was younger because I had a friend who was older that always listened to them. I don't usually tell people I like them since people usually love them or they hate them. I agree about the older stuff being better. When I was little and I got my first mp3 player, the very first thing I did was put when september ends and boulevard of broken dreams on there. 

 

Another thing that's funny, I was just listening to that song in the car the other day and one of the first thoughts that came to mind was "I wonder what Airbourne would think if I told him I liked Green Day... o.O And then you posted the song. But that answers that question.
