This is not my video but this game was actually not half bad. The graphics were SO waxy, but the voice overs, the storyline, and the variety of skills and weapons actually gave the game a bit of depth. I liked the variety of levels and while there were some INSANE glitches...

but it was still fun!!

I also really liked Splatterhouse remake. While the game had issues, the brutality was so sexy and I LOVED Jim cummings as the voice of the mask. Plus it had a killer sound track!

Shadow the hedgehog!

It wasn't that good, but meh, I loved it all the same.

And lost planet but I say that game is more obscure than bad.

Postal III was a decent game, opposed from all of the sub-zero ratings that it was given. the gory violence and retarded dark humour are what made this game so golden from any other game

I like random over-the-top games but I have never really tried the postal franchise. What is the purpose of Postal III if you don't mind me asking. Is there an actual storyline?

yeah, there is 2 storylines (good and bad) be evil as you want and kill EVERYTHING or be the good guy and join the cop force. the postal series (except 1) is based on how violent they person playing the game is

*watches a video of the gameplay* Interesting. It seems something I may be interested in at a budget price. My question for you now is the gameplay. From the video, it seems very...I dunno, loose?

Most of the Dynasty Warriors games do not receive good scores, yet I put so much time into the games, I love them. :P Except for Dynasty Warriors 6, it was horrible. Dynasty Warriors Gundam was not well received by critics, but input over 160 hours into the game. I don't think they are bad games, expect for 6, but it is all a matter of opinion.

I admit that I actually enjoyed playing Sonic '06. I mean, it's a Sonic game that has the exact gameplay style of the Sonic Adventure games, and I don't actually recall running into any major glitches. Is it honestly just the minor bugs that don't matter much that pisses people off the most?

I didn't have too much trouble from Silver's boss fight, either. I didn't really mind the "ITSNOUSEITSNOUSEITSNOUSE", I actually found it very humourus. Plus, actually finding out what to do to beat him was very easy for me.

The graphics and music was neat, too.

In fact, I sometimes think people hate on this game WAY too hard. Well, I'm fine if people hate it and refer to it as the worst Sonic game ever, but maybe they're just paying too much attention to the downsides?

LOTS of underrated 3D platformers out there. I love A Bugs Life, Jersey Devil, and The Hobbit, and would rather play any of those than Crash Bandicoot or Jak and Daxter personally.

I also love Final Fantasy V a lot more than IV or VI.

I'm an odd one.

Medal of Honor Warfighter. It received approximately a 5-5.5/10 from critics, and I dont see why.

The multiplayer, to me, is only beat in quality by Team Fortress 2, and the campaign is epic

The game was MUCH better than MoH: 2010, and that received about a 7/10 from critics. (That game sucked, especially the multiplayer segment)

Also, Contact. This game is fairly uncommon in the United States and it was deemed by critics as a poor average game. I say it is just about the best DS game ever made, except Etrian Odyssey.

I actually really like Duke Nukem Forever. I don't see why people are tearing the game a new one. It has its issues but it fits the duke Nukem games rather well. I love the humor and the weapons and the absurdity of it. I am trying to beat it on Duke Mode where it is the hardest and most true to the original in terms of no regen health, but i may just stop because I just don't like Hardcore modes very much XD

I actually really liked Final Fantasy II (the original FFII, not IV), which is widely considered to be the black sheep of the entire franchise. People's complaints seem to focus on the "generic" story - because the 'big bad empire' spiel wasn't old long before FFII came out - and the leveling mechanics, which I personally feel make the most sense out of any leveling system in the series.

Sure, stat growth was a tad broken, and really should have been ironed out for a more balanced game, but at least they made sense: use physical attacks, Str. and weapon proficiency go up; use black magic, Int. goes up; use white magic, Wis. goes up; lose HP, Vit. and max HP go up; spend MP, Mag. and max MP go up. And depending on what you decide to specialize in, some stats will actually go down, like losing Str. for specializing in black magic and conversely losing Int. for specializing in physical attacks. Again, sensible.

But perhaps it's just me. After all, I do have an affinity for tabletop RPGs, which tend to work in a similar fashion. Maybe such a leveling system is just too trying of casual gamers' patience. Still, in my book, ain't no reason the wizard should get XPs for a battle where the fighter did ALL the work. The whole 'shared XP' thing is something I feel breaks modern RPGs, but again, maybe that's just me.

Praytell, what raised it about those other two? :D

I need to ask...when you say "The ACTUAL one" do you mean Final Fantasy II for the Famicom, or Final Fantasy II for the SNES? I love II for the SNES.

Dynasty Warriors 4. I remember playing it on my Xbox Original (The very first Xbox). Most critics gave it bad reviews but I loved it. Awesome missions, a fairly accurate historical storyline, moving plot, and awesome memories.

I remember so many memories, which is probably why this one of my all time favorite games. It was so awesome that I almost cried when I beat the game (I beat it multiple times with multiple characters).

I meant the Famicom one. Since it was finally released outside of Japan via FF Origins, every subsequent release of FFII for SNES has been retitled to its original name, FFIV. Which, I might add, is one of my all-time favorite FF titles...right beneath FFVI (FFIII SNES).

I played quite a lot of Simpsons Skateboarding when I was younger. The game was pretty badly made with lots of repeated voice overs, questionable physics and a lack of quality in the overall presentation. Yet I still enjoyed it. The gringing was broken enough to actually climb up rails, the area's you could navigate to felt rewarding when you got to them and as a child it was, above all, fun.

Though I can see why it got a 2.5 on IGN. (Yes, that bad!)

I kind of liked playing Shadow The Hedgehog. Despite the whole broken gun system (which wasn't' really that broken as long as you can fire from the hip.)

It had a charm to it because I love Shadow (I love all Anti-Heroes) And the pick the path of Good or Evil Or Neutrality was a good add on for replay-ability. The only thing that really grinded my gears was the story (Shadow is an alien lolwut?!?) But that aside I loved the gameplay.

Also the dialogue in that game was hilarious!

Shadow: Where's that Dam Fourth Chaos Emerald?

Eggman: You know what they say...the more the merrier!..............(Repeats as I kill him)

I actually enjoyed Too Human, though I won't even pretend that it was any more than a third of a game. As far as I can tell, somebody decided that it would be a trilogy but neglected to tell anyone else, so at the end they just published the first third of the game and then gave up when it didn't sell.

House of the Dead 2. I played it later in my life (much later than 1999 anyway), but I thought it was a fun shooter overall and the voice acting was killing me the whole time. It's as if the voice actors didn't know what game they were acting for, it's just hilarious.

Uhm, gonna have to say that I REALLY like Mister Mosquito. Despite the fact that is is biologically inaccurate (only female mosquitoes drink blood as far as I remember) but it's so entertaining. ;_;
