Nevertheless Big Boss has to be close second for me. Just love everything about him too smile.png

The scene at the end of Snake Eater where he's given the title of Big Boss was so awesome, and in Peace Walker where he stops being Snake and starts calling himself Big Boss. I really love the story and characters from the Metal Gear series, I could just write a massive essay about how much I love Otacon, Grey Fox, and Ocelot.

Defo a tie between Yuna and Tidus in Final Fantasy X.

Why? The romance and the drama, the story line, the sorrow of it, the way they were animated and the voice actors were brilliant in both the japenese and english versions... the songs in FFX-2 especially, the fact there was a sequel... the special effects, all the fanfics written after, the cos plays, the art, heck everthing!

Seconded only by Sephiroth... best and most awesome villian EVER also a Final Fantasy character but from FF7. Great hair style, wicked expressions, mysterious nature, awesome story line, fighting scenes, and just WICKED all around. The video below speaks for itself.

I'd have to say Doctor Dala from Fallout: New Vegas. She turns me on with that sensual voice of hers.

Hey, she has a fetish for humans, I have a fetish for robots...it's the perfect union. Also, she was cute even when she was still human.

This video is slightly nsfw, so watch at your own peril:

And while we're at it, despite being a group rather than a single person, I'd like to give a shout-out to the Followers of the Apocalypse from Fallout as well. These guys are cool and admirable.

THREEEE DOG

Aint nothing like blowing super mutants heads off, while listening to smooth jazz, played by THREEEE DOG the voice of he wasteland.

"THREEEEEE DAWG! That's me folks, coming to you loud and proud from my fortified bunker in the middle of a DC hellhole!"

"Hey everybody, this is Three Dawg, your friendly neighborhood disc jockey. What's a disc? Hell if I know, but I'm gonna keep talking anyway!"

"Because one dawg ain't enough, and two is too low, it's me, Three Dawg!"

This guy is so quotable. Tay Zonday even made and impression:

Well the two most memorable games I've ever played were Ghost Trick:Phantom Detective and Phoenix Wright:Ace Attorney so I'm just going to choose the most memorable character from each of those games.

In Ace Attorney the award goes to the man himself *drumroll* Phoenix Wright

phoenix_wright_news1.jpg

God Damn he's awesome, I've spent so much time playing this game, saying objection over and over again at school with my friends, and constantly referencing him he just has to be the most memorable character for me.

And for Ghost Trick it is (this is one giant spoiler)

Yomiel

Yomiel_model_2.jpg

This guy has the best backstory and not to mention the ENTIRE GAME you think your this guy and then you actually end up being someone else (God this will make no sense for people who have never played it) But this guy, he's just the shit right here.

In my opinion, it's this guy right here:

B2W2_Ghetsis.png

Ghetsis from the Pokemon series. Despite not having much character development, he is an extremely evil, manic villain who has some pretty awesome battles.

This is a bit of a Black 2 and White 2 spoiler, so avoid if you want to:

By the end of the game, Ghetsis gets pretty deranged and he basically snaps. You can tell that after the first time he was defeated, he has grown to have a hatred for trainers and can't stand being defeated again.

Besides, his battle music is damn awesome! img-1379355-5-xtWXQl1.png

For me, the answer is obvious:

Lara-Croft-evolution-tomb-raider-6890254

Yeah, I mean c'mon! These were some of the best and most memorable action adventure shooters out there, and they're still fun to play to this day.
Not a big fan of the new games, but Lara Croft definitely gets my vote on this one.

Without a doubt, Mario.

Super-Mario-bros-super-mario-bros-328466

Mario is a classic gaming icon that has been around for over thirty years. When I was growing up, the first video game I ever played was Super Mario World on my parent's SNES. They look at the Mario games today with amazement at how times have changed since they played through the original. The image I included really makes you wonder, doesn't it?...

I also really respect Mario's voice actor, Charles Martinet. He's such an amazing fellow, he inadvertantly crashed an audition being held by Nintendo and now he's voicing pretty much every male character except bowser in the series. From what I've seen of him, he is a really admirable and humble fellow.

And for some other memorable characters for me...

GLaDOS: Best villain ever! I freaking love her personality even though she wants to kill you and she's a very interesting and non-cliche character. Simple as that.

Phoenix Wright: A bumbling lawyer that goes from a zero to a hero. He first faced off against the helpless "rookie killer" Winston Payne and worked his way up to facing off against one of the scarriest prosecutors in his universe, Manfred von Karma. Karma had never lost a single case in 40 years and Phoenix was the one to finally shut the door in his face for good as a rookie.

Well, two categories fall into this question...One is adventure, which would obviously be (atleast for me):

crash-bandicoot-dance-o.gif

Come on, this guy fended off 5 Playstation games before turning into toilet dump, but he made the Playstation 1 a jewel. A true jewel. When it comes to action...

Duke-Nukem-Forever-3.jpg

No doubt, i think. This guy made shoot 'em up against aliens a lot funnier. His lines were really memorable.

My favourite OC: Veigar, The Master of Evil

My other OC/s: Viktor, The Machine Herald

I play a lot of video games, but so many of them are make your own characters so there's just not a lot of memorable characters. However one character who I will never forget forever is going to be *Drum roll*...

hqdefault.jpg

Dr. Edward Ricthofen from the Nazi Zombies series of Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Why is he so memorable, those quotes man, those quotes...

"No touching the doctor!  ... Unless he asks."

"THE BLOOD!THE BEAUTIFUL BLOOD!"

"They were all flattened like pancakes!"

"I'd love to bath naked... IN YOUR BLOOD!"

"Oh, zey puppies! I love ze-! Oh... Zey so ugly."

This guy is flipping insane, and great at the same time.

The Lutece Twins are easily the best character from any game I've played recently. But of course, it's all a matter of perspective. Comprehension without perception is a dangerous combination.

For me it would have to be zeh Dr. Edward Ricthofen. Its crazy and has some funny lines especially in Black Ops 2 Zombies maps for example in Grief "We will work together against the zombies, ah? SO MUCH FUN! WUNDERBAR! Ahahaha. You are on two teams and only one team is allowed alive, so, good luck." I like the Buried quotes more but cant find them.  All together he is a fun, crazy, and awesome character to play as and against.

I'd have to say John Marston. The game itself was memorable... but it wouldn't have been as memorable if Rockstar hadn't crafted such am amazing character. Throughout the whole game, he had to do sooo much stuff just to get his family back...

He had to kill former friends and work with people he'd rather see dead. After doing soo much and after spending but a few days with his family, the government (they had his family) decided he was no longer useful and decided to tie up that final loose end.... well they did. John didn't care though... he only cared that his family was safe. His last act was fleeing with them to their barn and making sure they were on a horse heading away from their ranch. Then all he did was open the front door to the barn and made sure to take as many of the mercs down with him

The game didn't do him any justice... but that's what makes it so beautiful..

Final Fantasy 9's star villain, Kuja. Not only was he one of only a handful of video game villains to actually achieve his goal (He destroyed creation from its source, how do you argue with that?) but he was FABULOUS while doing so. Oh, and his lines were amazing.

I think my most memorable video character is the guard in skyrim, when he says:

''i used to be an adventurer like you, but then i took an arrow too the knee''

that phrase keeps rolling in my head and cant forget about it.

Two characters, Banjo and Kazooie. Both of them are the greatest characters I've ever played with when I was 4 years old. I'll still remember that game even when I die.

This guy wipes out an unholy amount of aliens (including their God) and an entire platoon of soldiers, and all without uttering a single word.
I'll never forget the first time I picked up that crowbar In Half-Life 1 back in the day

Gordon Freeman is the character I was about to write too. :D He just proves that words are not necessary to make a character memorable. All it takes is a crowbar. ^_^

By memorable, I guess you mean one that stays with you and stands out in the game they're in. Because that character is definitely Godot from Ace Attorney.

Dude has a glowing red visor. He speaks constant poetry, and drinks 17 cups of coffee in a single case. He's one of the most unique and memorable characters I've ever come across, while at the same time the reasons for his mysterious visor and strange coffee addiction are very founded.
