Weirdest things you've said or done in your sleep?

(Combine if there's a thread like this; not exactly good with the search box for some reason  )

Nope :P Congratulations, there are no (apparent) duplicates to be found. That said, after having a discussion regarding things one does in their sleep in the staffer lounge, I took it upon myself to search for, if not create, a topic for it. As your topic is the only related one, I've decided to edit yours to encompass any unconscious nightly activities, as opposed to just sleep-talking. Sleep talking, sleep walking, sleep doing anything; this is where it's at :D

If anyone finds any dupes in the future I missed, or new ones that get made, make sure to report them as usual ^^

The most bizarre thing I've done in my sleep was take my shirt off. I went to bed with a long-sleeved shirt on, as it was Spring, and not quite hot enough to warrant sleeping shirtless from the getgo. Woke up, looked down, and was rather confused on why my belly button and bare skin were exposed to my blankets :P

My generalized anxiety kind of took me for a loop throughout the entire day. I was afraid this was some new thing that would become a nightly phenomenon. Thankfully, it was not. Only time it's ever happened so far.

oh man, I've done a lot of crazy things in my sleep. After I played Sonic Heroes for a while, I went to sleep. The next morning, my sister told me that I hit her in the nose shouting "SHIFT, ROCK, YEAH!"

Another one. After we had an Indiana Jones marathon, I went to bed, but I actually heard myself talk, and I said "Don't worry, I'll save you." Then I woke up and heard my other sis say "INDIANA JONES WILL DO IT!"

Another one. I couldn't sleep one night and I was in the room with my brother and one of my sisters. I heard Laura say something, but she mumbled it, so I couldn't hear. The all of a sudden, Drake yells "NO!! OVER THERE!!!!" I laughed so hard, but quietly. XD

I don't sleepwalk, and I don't sleeptalk.

I... drool.

And I drool a lot. Once I woke up with the part of my pillow I was sleeping on completely soaked.

Perhaps it was because the dream I had was about my crush.

A long time ago, I woke up from a nightmare shout "SKUUUUUUUUUUUUL" at the top of my lungs. I think it woke up the whole building.

I tend to be a ROUGH sleeper, and my parents have claimed hearing me mumble "No, Pinkie, we need more party cannons!" And then stayed quiet for a while and then they claim I said "Weeeeee! The frog is on the roof and the cannon exploded, but I have no idea what I'm doing!" Have no idea where the 2nd one came from xD

I've never been told I talk or anything in my sleep.

but at my aunt's cottage, she's got a "Captain's" bed I slept in when I was younger...which is higher than a normal bed....anyways one night I rolled out of bed and continued to sleep, I never woke up from falling 3 feet to the floor. I woke up the next morning on the floor, wondering how I got down there...then my mom said she heard a loud "thump" in the middle of the night, guess that was me...lol

Well, one night a few years ago I went to sleep after watching a lot of episodes of a cartoon I can't remember at the moment (it wasn't MLP) and ended up mumbling a lot of stuff about it in my sleep.

Apparently, my mother said that one night I was yelling to her from my room (This was when I was 9). She came to my room and asked what was wrong. I said I was stuck. She looked over to me and saw I was normally sprawled across my bed. She asked me where I was stuck. And I said "In between the bed and the spoon."

I sometimes talk in my sleep, and it seemed that i was dreaming about me having a fight with some guy, i literally yelled in the middle of the night "7ell 3anee shu 7mar" (yes in arabic online we use numbers :P) which translates to "get the F*** off, you dumb ass"

and later on this night my dad came up to me while i was still asleep and asked me if i was ok, also while sleeping I answered "yeah yeah i've got this"

I haven't ever talked in my sleep, however I have had people respond to me while they're sleeping. Honestly, sleep talking gives me goosebumps. No real reason, it just does. I live in a family of five, two of which sleep talk. I'll just be sitting there and hear some gibberish come from them. I ask "What?" and have gotten some pretty odd replies.

"No, to the left. Go to the left." (It's weird, since they don't listen to Beyonce.)

"That was funny, do it again." (I just didn't know what to say after that, so I let them be.)

"Yea, sure. I'll have some." (I...what?)

The only thing abnormal that has happened to me during sleep is waking up like they do in dem Hollywood movies. You know, when they jolt awake out of fear/a nightmare? Yea. That one. It was a weird nightmare, even more so that it jolted me awake. *shrugs*

Apparently my brother heard me mumbling about momentum and energy conservation at 1 in the morning, while I was deeply asleep. Looks like Medical School testing has taken over my subconscious too :P

One time I made a hotdog in my sleep. I walked downstairs and got a plate and hot dog, but when I tried to put it in the microwave, the beeping woke me up.

I have never talked in my sleep, but I have sleep walked a bit when I was younger. I'd fall asleep just to wake up somewhere else such as: The living room sofa, a chair in the kitchen, and one time on the floor of my parent's bedroom. It doesn't happen anymore which I'm thankful for. :)

Ok, so this isnt entirely while im asleep, and its also not that weird but i dont do much in my sleep so this is all i got. A few years ago i slept on a bunk bed on the top bunk, under the bed i had a few plastic boxes filled with various things, one filled with legos. I rolled over and fell into the lego box, was instantly woken up, but only partially. I had bits of plastic and legos lodged into my legs and arms, my parents came in, i was bleeding into a plastic box, pulled out all the plastic bits, and went back to sleep, without ever noticing it until the next morning.

I remember a time not too long ago where I used to not be able to get to sleep for an hour because I couldn't stop laughing at the things that were on my mind. I also remember my brother telling me once that he heard me muttering "I'm gonna kill you." in my sleep. Yeah, kinda creepy.

there was a night when my father told me that i got out of bed, went to the kitchen, opened the pantry door ( where the trash can is ) and took a leak in it XD ... and just recently, i was pushing myaelf to stay awake talking to my GF , and i fell asleep at about 2:00am according to her, and when she said my name over the phone, i mumbled hers... i dont recall doing that :P but i do dream about her often, and i have heard that you are still listening, and in a way, reacting while sleeping.

A friend of mine once told me that I shouted, "DAMN IT STEVEN! I KNOW YOU HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS!"

And that is why I don't sleep. Ever.

This wasn't me, but there's a famous story at my school. There was this huge birthday party a few years back (I didn't go because, y'know, I had no friends back then), and apparently a bunch of kids went and spent the night. Basically the floor was covered in kids in their sleeping bags. Then, in the middle of the night, a kid named Daniel just stood up, and while asleep, unzipped his pants and started peeing on everyone that was sleeping on the floor.

And that's why I don't sleep over at other people's houses.

The only thing I know of is an instance that happened years ago, back when my little sis and I shared a room. According to her, I was apparently mumbling some sort of cryptic jargon about the sun being the father of the moon...or something. It was weird.

On a related note, I distinctly remember walking into our room one morning, where my sis was asleep on the top bunk. No sooner had I entered, she sat bolt upright in bed and proclaimed "God bless America!" with a wide-eyed expression, which slowly morphed into a groggy expression as she plopped back down on her pillow and started snoring almost immediately. (Kinda reminded me of this.) I was so flabbergasted that I forgot what I'd gone in there for and just left.
