What are those games that you love to play, but you would never tell society that you actually enjoy?

 

My personal guilty pleasure has to be Nintendogs for the DS. I don't know why, it's just so addictive and the dogs are so darn cute. I used to play it round my friends house so much and the habit still hasn't been broken.

Sometimes I will grab an assault rifle in Halo:Combat Evolved, go to a level with marines, and see how much ground I can cover with their blood -.-

 

I like making it look like a gory battle scene.

 

Now I'm not embarrassed playing halo mind you, I'm just going by the title of the thread, hope that's ok with you.

I love Halo CE Mine sorta relates to yours-I go to the "Get off the Pillar of Autumn level", and at the start I keep walking until I get the pistol, then go back and kill all the humans. This causes a buncha invincible marines to spawn and attack me, and I try seeing how long I can last

I try not to have secrets and hide what I like, but my friends can be ridiculously harsh on other people for liking "kids" stuff. It's nice that you can show your love for things!

 

I like to do that too on games where you can see the blood. It makes it look a lot cooler. My parents caught me making "pewpew" and "splat" noises while I was doing to once. It was a bit odd...

I'm not really embarassed about any game I play, well, maybe a bit about playing casual games like Angry Birds or Plants vs. Zombies? I don't play them as much as I used to, but duhh, those are good games, even if they don't have ultra deep plots. So nothing not to be proud of. :3

Well... It's not really a secret but I guess I have 2 guilty pleasure games that I don't go spouting that I play to EVERYONE. World of warcraft being one, back in my hay day I was playing upwards to 6 hours a day. The second one being not really 1 game but many. I Love playing horrible games, I still own my copy of Shaq fu... Really bad games make me laugh. Actually now that I think about I love old games in general, Snes and PS1 games are awesome in my books. Guess you could call me Hipster Sprixx then eh?

Final Fantasy 10 is my favorite FF game, many people I know would criticize me for this choice so I just keep it to myself.

Ah yes. I used to play tons of FF when I was little, but I haven't played one in a while.

 

I have one similar to that though, I still think Ocarina of Time is the best Zelda game; but if you say that on Zelda forums these days then people go nuts! So I just internally love the game.

I don't really have a game I am ebarressed to play, but other people think I am strange for liking Endless Ocean.

Otherwise things I do in other games that are kind of guilty pleasures:

 

-Skyrim/Oblivion/Morrowind- Go on murder rampages, or attempt to stealth kill everyone without being caught.

-Sid Meier's Civilization 4/5- I really love to build 500 nukes and then use them all in one turn, yay for nuclear armageddon!

-Europa Universalis III- Nothing feels better than ruthlessly putting down a rebellion or two with the royal army.

-Left 4 Dead 1/2- Pushing people off ledges as a charger!

-Animal Crossing- I like to think that your character is actually insane while this whole thing goes on, I blame fanfics!

Why guilty pleasure?

Because there are many people out there complaining it's repetive and only "kids who want to be cool" play it.

It sure is repetive and there are some kids online, but I love to play it together with my roommate and we have lots of fun

I wouldn't say it's a guilty pleasure, but I love KATAMARI!!!

It's just so addictive to roll everything into a giant ball, and I don't know why.

 

During the parasprite episode, you bet I thought katamari when they made a giant ball of them.
