Well let's see...oh wait...I've never been on a date...*cries and leaves thread*

(Seriously, sometimes I wish I was a girl so I didn't have to be the one to ask the person out...it's impossible.)

Lolwut. I seriously am confused lol.

Okay I had to type this really quick. XDDDD

I'll edit it again so it actually makes some sense? Yup....I'll do that. I don't know if anyone is interested in reading it though haha.

The only person I've ever been on actual real life dates with is @Cyclone1066. None of our dates have been "bad"....just, our first date was a bit awkward (as most first dates are).  We went to McDonald's for lunch, sat down with our food. Was super awkward cause we were just sitting there in silence eating, I couldnt even look him in the eye so I just stared down at the table the whole time XD then he got up and left to refill his drink, after he left I stood up and accidentally SPILLED ALL HIS FRIES ON THE FLOOR :lie: He wasn't mad about it though, he later told me he found it really cute?? :sealed: Plus just during the whole date I was a total awkward quirky buzzkill. I'm surprised he stuck with me after that. It's something we look back and laugh on now. :adorkable:

I'm not sure if I would call it a bad date (probably just more of a failed date), but senior year of high school I went to see Black Panther with a girl I liked, and I feel like it went past awkward. The first half was alright and we talked a bit before the movie started, but at the end she just seemed really uncomfortable and like she wanted to go. Not really sure what went wrong, but apparently something did.

Oh my, it's been an eternity. I didn't really have any bad experiences. The worst I can think of (and that's really pushing it) is when I was with my ex-girlfriend's family and we went out to eat and they paid for this grilled chicken meal for me that I ended up not being able to eat because the restaurant put some kind of weird sauce on it that would have had me gagging if I tried to eat it.

TBH, that might have even happened before we were dating. As I said, it was an eternity ago. The worst thing about it was that I didn't have a job so I didn't have money myself, so I wasted their money. It's happened before with other people/friends, so it's not like this was a special instance or anything, but still bad.

Boy do I ever

Where do I even start

Online date sites bring about all sorts of people.

I think my biggest annoyance more than anything is the inability to read that some people seem to have. I make it a point to not just have it on my profile but mention it multiple times during our conversation that I’m looking for something serious not hookups.

What happens? I get pissed off dates that we’re looking just for hookups and thought I was gonna put out after they bought me lunch. I made it absolutely clear multiple times prior to our meet that I’m only seeking a serious relationship, no hookups.

Ive even had people agree with me that they were looking for something serious only for them to say otherwise after going on a date. You call them out on it and I’ve pretty much gotten the same response of they don’t get dates unless they lie about wanting serious relationship when they don’t.

That sounds super annoying! :unamused: People only wanting hookups should go looking for hookup-only people, shouldn’t be that hard, right?

There is no such thing as a dating culture here, so no I have never been on a date besides I've learned my lessons. Never spend money on a girl unless you want to be in a relationship with her.  Which sure I might do yet no never had a date, I don't think I'll ever have a date especially with how I've rarely seen girls of quality with values and self respect. They all just want to hookup while I'm looking for that real stuff you know, that being married for twenty years and still be as much in love as you were when you knew she was the one that type of love. I am not enticed by easy, I can get any girl I want. Yet I want to work for it and I want that to be mutual, I need her to be as invested in me as I am in her. So point is no there is no dating, yet I would prefer there was I would only put in effort towards a girl with similar values and someone looking for a serious long term relationship.

Never been on one, if you vibe with someone you'll naturally get close over time - never actively sought it out. jK2N62X.png
