Cross-Dressing

Yup, do it ALL the time, simply because of my gender dysphoria, it is part of my treatment and well in all honesty, I actually feel a whole lot more comfortable and confident wearing women's clothing than I do in men's clothing :D

I haven't ever done it, but I don't see a problem with it. Whatever your reason is, whether it be that you are transgender or just for a joke or whatever it's fine by me. I like being a male, but who knows? Maybe I'll give it a shot at some point just for fun.

I have a picture of Isaac wearing a sundress in my picture folder. Maybe I'll use that as my next avatar. It's pretty cute.

Ehh, not my thing, but if someone wants to, go nuts xD It's a form of expression, and humans irl just don't appeal to me anyway (unless they're cosplaying), so it's not like I'll end up thinking gay thoughts (not saying there's anything wrong with being gay, but I prefer to be straight) if I see a picture of 1-2 dudes cross dressing. Although if someone forced an anime picture on me of a particularly girly twink cross dressing, then there could be problems xD

Cross-dressing doesn't bother me at all. I would never judge someone for doing what it is that makes them happy. I'd even share my dresses if they wanted.  :)

I just came back from New Orleans and I saw my fair share of them. Honestly, I don't get it. They weren't fooling anybody. Are they trying to get attention? Or do they just not care? Don't get me wrong, I don't care. Do whatever you want. I just don't understand.

My reason for wearing clothes manufactured for women (alongside clothes manufactured for guys) is because I want to. I just wear whatever I feel happy or comfortable in. It's likely that the reason is the same for them.

I thought that would be the case.

Yeah, most crossdressers aren't even trying to pass for women or whatever, they just find the process somehow enjoyable.

Hey this is sort of on topic but also a little off topic: anyone ever seen the TV show Accused? and the episode Tracies story?

Had the actor Sean Bean in it, from Goldeneye playing the part of this guy whose a cross-dresser, it was pretty awesome. It just sprang to mind because it's a good show and it was about a cross-dresser in that episode.

I'll post a link below to watch if anyones interested :)

If you are reading this you clearly have sometime on your hands, or you just like to read. Lets be honest they can be very related, you are on a forum dedicated to pastel colored miniature equines. Though if reading this is a waste of time, what would it say about the person who is writing it....

also The Game, Consult the Helix Fossil, /0, and other such maymays

@Hyper Tumble

Why do you not understand it? Just because most people let limited their wardrobe to gender-specific clothes?

Why should they try to fool someone or so, can‘t people not just wear whatever they like to?

I don't mind and I think some girls look cool when they do it, I've thought about crossdresssing but more for a costume, but else I'm cool with it.

I'm actually making a disco / garage house track about the ask Glittershell blog, which is a blog about a young cross dressing Snails. In particular his trip to the spa for a makeover. I fell in love with the sweet storyline and wanted to do something musical for it. So it will be a pmv too with all the art incorporated into the track (since i rcvd permission). I hope it goes over well as you never know how many people won't get it or aren't ready to see such things.

I don't crossdress but i think its important that we accept those who do and that's including of course transgenders. It's important for people to feel welcome here and accepted while the rest of the world struggles with these issues.

Edit

Here it is now that its published

Believe me I've read Luna x Pipsqueak shipfics that were incredibly adorable.

Shipfics ? As in, purely romantic relationships ? That may be interesting, I'm in a shortage of adorable things.

Oh come on ! Is THIS really the second suggestion ?

Guuuuys.... :(

Err-hem... back on topic !

I know a few people who occasionally crossdress, and I've done it myself a few times. I like the feeling of it, but I don't have many occasions because of my mother who works at home. Not that she would say anything, she's very open and such, but it was already awkward enough to explain the brony fandom to her.

Yeah, I crossdress. I like doing it but not out in public. I have the body type for it and I look pretty gender-neutral. People say it looks good, but I don't know, I never like the way I look haha.

I like clothes in general, and I don't see the point for wearing clothes designed for guys only. The only female clothing I'm comfortable wearing outside are t-shirts. The way they're made is just so comfy and most of them are just plain awesome in colors and design. I've never had any weird looks from them, but I wouldn't even care if they did. Crossdressing is a fairly uncommon sight in public, so you'll just have to deal with that. People who confront you however, piss me off so much. Not the ones who're just interested and kinda going "Eeehh.. wat" but the negative mean people.

Everyone should be allowed to be who they are, that doesn't mean people won't notice. You'll just have to deal with that fact, but don't let people walk over you just because you're doing something uncommon.

Not sure if this really counts as cross-dressing, but I've recently become fascinated with nail polish. For some reason, I never really thought of it before, but being into art myself, I love how you can use your nails as a blank canvas. Now that I think about it, I don't understand why it's supposedly a "girls only" thing. It's just a way of expressing yourself, not unlike tattoos. Anyway, I'm not quite confident enough to paint my fingernails with color, but I keep my toenails painted. Right now, I'm wearing a "Rainbow Dash" blue.  :P

I'm also wearing a clear top-coat on my fingernails so it doesn't really show.

The main reason I'm posting this is because tonight my aunt came over and she happened to notice my fingernails. She said, "Your nails are shiny. Did you get a manicure?". I was afraid of what her reaction would be, so I told her I just like to take care of them. She said, "Well, they look nice." She actually complimented me! That was not what I expected at all, so that made me really happy.  :)

I'm not sure if I'll ever use color on my fingernails unless I'm cosplaying or something, but that really helped boost my confidence.

:P that was also kinda asking for it when you type shipping things in google XD heck you only have to type mlp r and it's the first suggestion right away.

Ok this might be discriminating, but really I don't get why people do it, somehow and I really don't know I don't really mind it as much on girls as I do on boys dressing as girls. Maybe just because it's more common? I don't know

Well Way dear, you already know the answer on that one, well about me anyway. It is pretty much necessary for me to cross-dress as part of my transition for at least 12 months before I can get the operation. For some it is choice, and for others it is a need.
