but imagine a antognist maybe being a little to pro celestial, or to creative with what celestial may or may not want.

 

Now you could totally attach a rel vent lesson to that episode. 
Now I don't hate religion, this isn't a heavy handed agenda to bash organized religion,

I think it would be neat that
Pony A (what ever she'd be called) shows up, preaching the word of celestial (maybe not quite preaching, but shilling, talking about how awesome she is.)

POnyville being 100 percent pro celestial make fast friends with pony A. 
Slowly but surely, do to her

 

possibly brutal tactics (just as a out there example going rounds saying Changeling scum!)

which most ponies probably wouldn't even flinch at.

 

Sooner or later someone like twilight would hear these speeches or see her actions and have to make a hard unpopular opinion on how to handle the matter.

 

The lesson could be sometimes doing the right thing isn't always gonna be popular,

or what's popular isn't always right.

 

I really like the idea of twilight in her new role having to have a not so happy ending now that she has more responsibility.

 

The idea that being a alicorn princess has some suck moments to it.

well when i come up with these kinda nutty ideas i picture myself having to shill said idea to a board room for approval.

 

I'd have a hard time doing this with this idea.

If they played a more peaceful approach I'm not really sure though but what if she comes praising celestia and Luna but hates cadence however if the speeches weren't obviously based off religion this could be a great idea

Celestia as princess, is just a device to avoid politics in the show.

Further: the show has deliberately avoided all discussion of religion.

Hasbro would freak if Celestia was presented as a goddess, or ponies appeared to worship her (even if misguided).

 

Hasbro is out to sell toys. anything like this would generate boycotts. Not gonna happen.

They could always try going into the backstories for King Sombra or Queen Chrysalis.  Like maybe if they delved more into the history of the Crystal Empire.  Both of those Antagonists seem to have something related to either the Crystal Empire or Princess Cadence.  Discord's fun and all but he's had enough of the lime-light for now.

They could always try going into the backstories for King Sombra or Queen Chrysalis.  Like maybe if they delved more into the history of the Crystal Empire.  Both of those Antagonists seem to have something related to either the Crystal Empire or Princess Cadence.  Discord's fun and all but he's had enough of the lime-light for now.

It would be great to see some Changelings with a mind of their own.  Perhaps one that provides a counter-point to the Queen, keeps her in check(or at least sane.)  

 

I think it would also be pretty neat if they explored the Griffon's kingdom for a bit or even just a different location.  The world that equestria is based in must be very vast, to pass up all that possibility just seems like a shame.  I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't been pushing for it(consider all the toys they could make.)

 

A flashback or even, a diary of sorts, for Sombra before he even became what we saw of him would be interesting.  Perhaps something similar to the episode The Storm from Avatar: The Last Airbender.  They introduced him as such a one-dimensional Antagonist and never really built him up beyond being some sort of crazed tyrant.  He has a lot of potential and they can do so much with him as a character.  I think it would be a shame if they passed that up.  It doesn't have to be overly melodramatic, just something that gives him more character besides, "Crystalssss...."

Perhaps Sombra was corrupted by those shadow things that corrupted Luna?  Maybe the shadow things moved on to corrupt Luna as they previously did to Sombra but moved onto greener pastures since he was defeated by Celestia and Luna.

I think a more child-friendly approach would be Celestia saving a pony, who then becomes a fanatic. This fanatic talks about Celestia at every chance, pretending she is perfect and the only alicorn in Equestria. Twilight steps in pointing out that there are 3 other (known canon) alicorns, and that Celestia wouldn't approve of being idolized. Luna and Celestia step in, Celestia rebukes the fanatic, who then apologizes. Moral of the story: Nopony is perfect, not even Celestia herself.

I personally want to see more of Queen Chrysalis, seeing as she is supposedly a rulers of a kingdom where as neither Discord or Sombre are. I feel this allows for more things that could do with her character and really give her some depth. I would love to see what her homeland looked like to!

I'd love to see some more of Queen Chrysalis.  How did she get her title?  Could it be from an age long since past?  I'd love to know where she came from.  She looks like a very interesting character.  I wonder how they came up with that insectoid-ish concept for her maybe she's under some sort of possession too.  Like how NightMare Moon and King Sombra were?  So many questions...

a bold gathering of rebellious changelings striking out in a dangerous world where their ruler is trying to oppress them, their feared and despised by the masses at large.

 

I mean I think with enough writing and some characters you could potentailly make that it's own show.  Not just one episode.
