Where would you realistically stay at in Ponyvile (of the mane 6)?

I have two hard choices to make... On one hand I would like to be bunked up with RD because I'm a pegasus pony and I'd like the privacy and the fact I love to sleep on clouds is a bonus. But at the same time the benefits to being bunked with AJ is more family friendly and I know for a fact I will NEVER go hungry lol

I would probably stay at Twilight's Library. I'm a night owl, so being up all night wouldn't really bother me. Furthermore, I love the idea of having access to a large selection of books at any given point in time. In addition, to the fact that Twilight would probably keep to herself more than any of the others, excluding Fluttershy, I think I would enjoy it there the most.

I used to live in a small town (now that I think of it, it's roughly the size of PonyVille!), and I used to live in a cottage next to a large pine forest, and I loved it there, so, I'd live at Fluttershy's cottage.

It would really depend upon how big the ponies are.

If they're the size of real-ish ponies, (that is, Twilight Sparkle being roughly wasit-height or slightly taller) it would be difficult to manage getting around inside anypony's house. If you're eye-to-eye, obviously it wouldn't be a problem. If they're little little ponies, like their height is equal to the length of your hand, obviously it would be a problem to not appear like a giant, stomping the town.

I guess I'd stay at twilight's library. I mean her being up late is not really aproblem for me since I'm usually up late anyway. Plus if I want to talk to my family, I could send the m letters.

I have to say Fluttershy's cottage. Just because I adore being around animals and I think I'd be at heaven in her aviary! (she DOES have one, right?)

AJ's farm would be the choice. I'm kinda assuming that Equestria doesn't have internet so I don't see myself staying up late. Internet's really the only reason I stay up late and if the Apple family take me in as their own, I shouldn't have a problem with boredom.

 

I really don't mind waking up early under those circumstances. Heck, I like taking a shower in the glimmer of the morning light. Toiling in the sun isn't something I'm a stranger to. Winter's going to be problematic since I don't like the cold. (That and I've never experienced winter.) 

 

So, um, yeah, that's what I can think of at the moment.

I'd pick some books about Equestria history and read all day long. Also, I fear crowds and really dislike noises, so this is the best place for me to live.

Rainbow Dash's cloud home of course. It's has an elegant interior, beautiful exterior, has an equal amount of breathtaking scenery as Fluttershy's or Applejack's homes, mostly tranquil and quiet like Fluttershy's or Twilight's. Just as good a place to get creative and inspiration as the Carousel Boutique, plenty of floor space, nice decor such as the columns and rainbow waterfalls while also being private etc.

 

Also mobile and nice climate at least for me.

I would stay with Twilight at the library because my OC (me) lives with Twilight in my pony world. I think I would be most comfortable there.

Pinkie Pie/Sugarcube Corner: Not only is this place going to be far too noisy and wild for me, but it's diabetes waiting to happen. This would be my last choice.

 

Rainbow Dash/Cloudsdale Home: While this is easily the most unique and original place to live, it would be very difficult to constantly be living high in the sky. Plus, I'm afraid of heights so this a huge no-no for me. Fifth choice overall.

 

Rarity/Carousel Boutique: The good thing about being here is that I'd have a roommate to make sure I look and feel my best, but they also have to meet a lot of deadlines, and there's bound to be a lot of drama and chaos because of it. Fourth choice overall.

 

Twilight Sparkle/Golden Oak Library: This isn't a bad location due to the quiet nature of it, and it's the perfect place to be for a knowledge seeker. However, the fact that it is open to the public means there will be an awful lot of unwanted company, and I don't like being around too many strangers for extended periods of time. Third choice overall.

 

Fluttershy/Cottage: I love that this place is near wildlife in a very beautiful place. My roommate would be the easiest to get along with as well. The only major con here is the fact that it's on the outskirts of Ponyville and a bit too close to the Everfree Forest, making it a bit too isolated as well as quiet. Second choice overall.

 

Applejack/Sweet Apple Acres: Good food will never be a problem here, and there's tons of space to roam around and enjoy nice long walks around the beautiful farm. Like Fluttershy's cottage, there will be different animals to take care, of as well as a group of roommates who will very likely treat me as just another member of the family. Of all of the locations, this would be my first choice.

 

Yeah, I know that I picked my favorite pony, but I'm being totally honest and unbiased when I say Sweet Apple Acres is where I'd want to stay. You could remove Applejack from the scenario completely and I'd still choose the farm. =)

I can't choose between Twilight's Library and Sugarcube Corner. There's just book books and more books in Twilight's Library for me to explore and it be peaceful most of the time. But think of the food and parties at Sugarcube Corner with Pinkie Pie! Cake, chocolate, ice cream, cookies, chocolate, muffins, milkshakes, crepes, chocolate, waffles, pastry... something tells me I have a sugar problem...

Definitely fluttershy's cottage. I prefer quiet, relaxing places with a forest and nature nearby. I'm not a town guy.

AFAIK, Pinkie lives w the Cakes. I've lived in homes w babies.  Not only no, but HELL NO!

Fluttershy, with all those critters it would be like living in a litter box.  No thanks.

Dash has a cloud house, probably not possible for non Pegasi to live there.

Rarity has at least 1 extra room, but Sweetie sometimes stays w her.  Does she have another extra room?

AJ's farm probably has a lot of extra rooms (I grew up in the country & most farmhouses do) but farmers get up at the crack of dawn (literally), work all day & sort of expect you to do so too.  No thanks

So by default: Twilight 

Twilight has a palace & probably has the most room.  Back when she lived in the library, she had at least 1 guest room.  AJ & Rarity stayed there in Look Before You Sleep.  Since they had to share a bed, it was probably the only one.
