"Don't touch her!" Yelled Orion as the intruder entered their midst and approached his sister. "Stay back! I'm warning you! Nggh..! Stay away! I won't let you hurt her!"

 

Eyes wide, his new horn shined brightly as the sparks shifted in the air - flying to hang in the air between them and the other pony

 

"Why can't you leave us alone? Why can't anypony just leave us alone?" He shouted almost hysterically.

Silver Heart nodded in quiet response to Pavisa, realizing she probably didn't see her, "Alright, lead on. Don't worry too much about me, though. I'll be right behind you." she whispered back as she used her magic to lift a Bar mace out of her saddle bags and kept it ready to swing.

"Yeah, I'm okay, I just--" Willow was close to shrieking when she found out that the stallion who helped her wasn't Orion. Not having the courage to say anything, Willow just did a quick nod and dashed limped behind her brother. She didn't want to admit it, but she never actually talked to another stallion other than her brother.

Hearing the yelling coming from the woods, Pavisa whispers back to Silver Heart "C'mon, but stay low.  Let's see what's going on first..."  Heading into the woods, she kept her eyes forward.  Pavisa stayed down near the ground, as quiet as she could be considering she was fully armored.  What the...  What am I looking at?  Who are those two with Blast...  Wait...  Is that an ALICORN!?

Blast's eyes widened at the pony who just snapped at him. He seemed very needlessly protective of her sister. It also didn't help when the mare cower behind her brother. She seemed very shy and scared by just Blast's mere appearance.

"Whoa, whoa, hold up there. No need to be alarmed." He said in a calming tone. "I'm Blasted Nova. You seemed hurt, and I decided to help."

Crimson heard all the noise and shouts from where he stood guard and quickly teleported to the spot where Orion was threatening Blast, Crimson quickly unsheathed Helios and pointed it at the alicorn, "who are you, and what are you doing here?" said Crimson quietly, sucpicious as to why an alicorn was there.

Willow Starsinger

"Oh no.. not more ponies.."  The mare whimpered to herself, cowering behind her brother hoping that nopony noticed her. This was the most ponies she's ever been around with, and she struggled to not have eye contact. The ponies seemed nice enough, but she was frightened they'd hurt her.

Crimson noticed the mare behind the stallion seemed frightened of him, causing him to feel bad, "this wont do...she'll just see me as an attacker if I keep this up...Its a risk, but I hope this works..." thought Crimson before sighing and dropping Helios, "I'm not gonna hurt you guys, see? I'm unarmed...now just calm down, and we can help you...ok?" asked  Crimson.

Blast reached out to the mare and put a hand on her hoof. He smiled warmly at her.

"You don't need to be scared. I promise not to hurt you. You have my word." He said warmly. He then gave both her and her brother a small ration from his pouch. "Now, could you tell me what you're doing out here?" He asked.

Chivalry appeared out of a nearby bush behind the two unidentified ponies. "Hey, we've got you guys cornered, the jig is up, yeah? Tell us who you are and we won't harm you." Chivalry announced to Willow and Orion whilst standing in a battle ready position. "Are you thieves? Spies maybe? or just-" Chivalry cut himself off due to the fact that he saw an injured pony and stood normally in a calm position. "Hey, you okay, your leg seems bruised, did ya fall or something?" Chivalry asked, but still keeping his guard up.

"trying not to bleed to death, could you help me or do I have to go off and find some ponies that actualy care that a stallion is bleeding to death"steel replied he was getting annoyed and didn't care what they thought of him at this point in fact he never cared in the first place

Blizzard was conflicted on what to do, on one hoof he couldn't just leave this pony to bleed out, but on the other hoof this pony was a complete stranger who happened to also be quite well armed while several of his companions were off in the woods chasing after the two voices they had heard earlier. "Fine, follow me. We'll get you patched up, don't need a dead pony so near our camp." Blizzard said distrustfully before turning and flying over to where Midnight sat by his shelter, looking over his shoulder at the stranger most of the way. "Hey Midnight! You remember how to fix up wounds? This pony could use some help in that department." Blizzard called over to his friend.

 

Midnight had been focused on polishing his armor when he heard Blizzard Blitz call his name. When Midnight saw the new pony he instantly got up and levitated his first aid kit from it's compartment in his armor. "Of course I remember how! I'll have that leg fixed up in no time!" Midnight called back in response. Normally he wouldn't be so eager to help a stranger, especially one who looked to be armed, but the bleeding looked just bad enough for Midnight to make an exception. He just hoped this didn't come back to haunt him later.

"thank you snd if you want since I can tell you dont trust me you can take my knives and other blades, I dont mind since you don't seem to want to hurt me"steel said as he flew over and took his weapons off once again and laid them in a pile in front of the stallion then sat and allowed the other stallion to work on him "feel free to ask me anything"steel said hopeing that he could gain some trust

Sand walked back to the camp and tried to find Rakon. You know, for being the only dragon in our group he is surprisingly hard to find... She thought. She didn't want to ask anypony, but she couldn't find him on her own. She was completely lost, and she didn't even have her only friend with her. It would be incredibly simple to just ask, but she hated talking to other ponies, so she couldn't.

"Well thank you then. And since you so generously offered, who are you and what are you doing alone out in these woods this late in the day?" Blizzard asked, staying by the pile of weapons and keeping an eye on their guest. 'He may have surrendered his weapons for the time being, but we'll see what kind of pony he is soon enough. It's too odd that we have three total strangers come near our camp at the same time, two of them running off and one bleeding and entering our camp.' Blizzard thought, full of suspicion towards the stranger.

 

"You're welcome, and thank you. Now hold still while I fix up you leg." Midnight said to the new pony before getting to work cleaning the cut, which thankfully didn't seem too bad. Regardless, Midnight wanted to be certain that was clean enough to not become infected. He knew from a rather bad experience the pain of an infected injury, and he didn't want any other pony to suffer through that.

The mare gave a slight smile to the stallion. But she still knew he wasn't trustworthy enough; maybe he was lying to get her to fess up. She did have to blush when he put his hoof in hers, though..

Willow began to feel very nervous.. she can't tell who she was to this stranger! He'll just have Orion taken away for reading the book, he didn't even mean it! So she just pretended not to hear him.

"I said stay away!" Screamed Orion, pulling his sister closer as his eyes narrowed. His wings extended with an ethereal aura as the light that seemed to radiate from them dimmed for a moment before returning along with a matching light from his eyes and horn.

 

"You wont hurt her! because I wont let you!" He bellowed and static crackled from his horn. "I told you to Nggh..! to leave us alone!" He shouted as more sparks filled the air, starting to move around the area. Starting slow, they quickly picked up speed until the air was a mass of lights - each crackling dangerously should they collide with anything.

Redwave opened his eyes with an illegible grumble - for once he was in a position to get a full nights sleep and the foals were making enough noise to keep a dragon awake...

 

"By the sisters! 'Fisher, go and shut..." He stopped and looked around. A number of the group were missing: Kingfisher and the intelligent guard included. The pirate too. "Excellent! Because sleep is clearly overvalued!" He declared sarcastically as he rolled his eyes, snatching the compass that hung by his side and muttering at it under his breath before following the direction it pointed into the forest.

Blast was beginning to get annoyed with this stallion. All he was really do was trying to help. He even gave a small ration to the two, and he was still treating him like the enemy. The stallion seemed to have started a giant storm in the sky.

Angry, Blast formed a red aura around him using most of his concentration and strength. This sudden aura would increase his overall speed and strength. He called this form "Sonic Blast." The form would only last for about 5 minutes, though. He then stared eye-to-eye with the stallion.

"Look, I'm only trying to help you. I just gave you a small ration of food." He said in a slightly annoyed tone. "Why are you here?"

Now, Willow knew her brother was overprotective of her and it was for a good reason, but he's gone too far. "Orion, it's okay. I can tell these ponies are nice, and.. well, nice." Willow tried to reason with her brother. If he used his magic on them now, they would have been dead.

As he heard Willow speak, the light from his horn, wings and eyes dimmed to a less brilliant level. Placing a hoof against his head, he swayed in place for a moment, wincing as his tried to clear his vision.

"I... we..." He tried to say, shaking his head.

The majority of the sparks of light dropped to the ground and dispersed - the rest returned and attached themselves to the feathers of his wing.

"Just... don't get close!" He said in the most controlled voice he could manage as the headache subsided for a moment. "Nopony needs to get hurt!"

Looking around Rakon saw sand.  He few over from where he was hovering in the air over to where she was and landed a short distance from her.  "How were things out there.  Looks like some dangerous goings on from what I could see." he said.  "We have to be careful, no telling how many criminals and other things there are out here.  I'm glad you are ok though." He said.

Pavisa let out a breath she hadn't even realized she had been holding.  That magic was incredible...  If these guys aren't careful, that alicorn could kill us all!  She didn't think their location in the brush had been noticed yet, but that crackle in the air had her hair standing on end all the same.  It was a huge relief when the alicorn had ended the spell.

She turned back to glance at Silver Heart again, risking a quiet whisper to the other pony.  "We can't fight magic like that...  If things go badly, try to convince the others to run.  I'll...  I'll do what I can to buy you a few seconds."  The guard quickly pulled her gaze away from Silver Heart as she finished whispering, not wanting the mare to get a good look at her face under her helmet.  Or more specifically, the look of worry across her features.  I don't know what good my armor will do against something like that...  I don't know what any of us could do against magic like that, actually.

Blast slightly grinned. He was glad the stallion was finally deciding to listen. Blast lowered down his Sonic aura as the stallion settled down the storm.

"You're right; nopony needs to get anymore hurt." He said calmly. "Now, I was actually following you through the trees. You came near our camp, so I assumed you probably needed some help. You two seem like you need it. You like quite sick, hurt, and hungry."  He said, examining them. "Perhaps we could help you out."
