I'm not too fond of modern country, but I do occasional put on some Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson.

Dude, at my school there's a ton of "classic rock" fans. I tend to avoid them (well I avoid everybody actually...) for the sake of not starting an argument with them. 

I would probably love your school then because tat is all I listen to, with the exception of some 80s pop music and modern rock

Some include Modern day country, Brostep, Mainstream rap, Modern pop, Hardcore dance, and so on.  Much of this music doesn't really appeal to me.

My least favourite genres would have to be:

Rap - it's just people talking over a beat really.

Jazz - it's just irritating noise to me.

 

 

I don't like pop music either.

 

 

Unlike most in this thread, I will tolerate dubstep and country music, I don't actively seek it out and listen to it and given the choice would listen to something else, but it doesn't irritate me as much as rap and jazz.

It goes without saying that I utterly despise house, and all associated EDM genres. It's all terrible.

 

Also, what's with all the rap hate? I get that there's a metric shit ton of terrible rappers out there (who ironically fit the above description for house musicians), but we can still count on Marshall Mathers to make some great stuff.

If I am going to talk about what type of music I dis-like the most, I will have to say that it is rap mainly because the music just does not sit right with me and the lyrics just don't feel right with me. I would take Octavarium by Dream Theater over any song by a rap artist any day.

I give pretty much every genre a go, and find at least a few songs here and there which I like. The only genres where I haven't found anything that I can really listen to are Hip-Hop, Trap, and Dubstep.

When I say Dubstep, I'm not referring to anything with a bass drop, because I listen to a lot of Electro House and Glitch Hop, I mean actual Dubstep. I can kinda tolerate the oldschool stuff, like Skream (though I wouldn't really listen to it out of choice), but I find a lot of the contemporary stuff unpleasant. 

But hey, that's just me.

Most of the pop songs on the radio today, and contemporary country. Old country can be pretty good, but I just cannot stand most of the newer songs. Sorry to anyone who likes these....

Hmmm,this is a hard one.I would have to say country is my least favorite.Too me the songs most of the time, sound the same.The lyrics are depressing and the over all accent they sing in, doesn't seem genuine southern.It's also trying to hard to blend in with rock now a days.But then there is hip hop and I have a few things to say about that genre as well.Rap back in the 90's and early 2000's was for the most part okay.But now it seems as if its turn into almost complete crap.I wouldn't hate it so much if it wasn't as big as it is. But it seems everywhere I go I have to hear somepony blasting lill wayne or someone else just as vomit inducing.And finally there is the dub-step crazy.I would have to say some dupsetp can be good but ever since its gotten more mainstream <-- insert hipster joke there). Its become very bland and tired.

I'm not very fond of pop (just for that spoiler) but the genre of music that I would dislike the most would be classical. I am into things with a very intense beat and classical music just doesn't work for that.

Frankly, I like basically all genres of music to an extent, I don't dislike any genre really.

 

Well except like oprah, I don't really like that much at all.

 

Other then that I can find Atleast something from every genre I like.
