I am proud to announce that I will never, ever in my life, ever cast a vote for ... ugh... Trixie. Got to say, Shining Armor is doing better than expected against her, and I'm happy to contribute to the effort.

 

Also voted for Second Best Pony Applejack, and Mayor Mare. I can't go supporting villains, now can I?

The second and third matchup today were pretty easy for me, and I seem to be with the majority in voting for Applejack and Chrysalis. Again, it's hard to vote against members of the Mane 6, and Mayor Mare just isn't a strong enough supporting character in my eyes to get a vote over Queen Chrysalis.

As for the other match, I was basically 50/50 with my decision, and looking at the other votes right now (49/52), I guess I'm not alone. Ultimately, I went with Shining Armor, but if draws were a voting option here similar to the real World Cup, I'd have probably gone with that.

It's half time here at the Mareicana, and already we have a lot of intensity at Group A's other match. Both characters are essentially tied in this one as Shining Armor fights to stay alive, while The Great and Powerful Trixie wants a strong hoof before she faces Sweetie Belle to end her Group Stage campaign. What will transpire in the second half? Will they play it safe with a draw, or will one of them go for the win?

 

 

 

but if draws were a voting option here similar to the real World Cup, I'd have probably gone with that.

 

 

Draws are an option, but that only happens if you have less than a 51-49 voting ratio between the two characters.

Ughhh...I went to bed at 2:30 a.m. last night, right? Trixie was up 52 - 44 at this point in time.

 

I wake up at 6:30 a.m., ONLY 4 HOURS OF SLEEP

 

I went into the kitchen

 

I gotta cup a coffee

 

I gotta couple a toaster strudels

 

I devoured my balanced breakfast

 

I watched an interesting segment about chicken wrangling on my local news station (Only in Texas...)

 

I took my dogs out to use the bathroom

 

And I come back and sit at my computer

It's not a surprise that AJ is winning, but I'm really surprised that Zecora got so little votes.

1. Trixie - because I was a fool and mistaken Shining Armor with other certain guard disliked by majority of fandom... xD 

 

2. Applejack - here it was hard choice, because I am big fan of Zecora, but after all I always admired Applejack's attitude in MLP and after all she is shown more often than Zecora and has more developed personality. 

 

3. Queen Chrysalis - I hope to see more of her, there are many various ways to develop her story, she can just remain purely evil villain, it can also be changed in something more...tragic showing how she became villain because of hurtful past... there are lots of possibilities. And I really hope Hasbro will do something more with her
