Dinky Do, you gonna get rustled

Princess Cadence, you gonna get rustled

Daring Do, you gonna get rustled.

 

None of those characters are bad, but I just don't see these being very close matches. Cadence has a chance to put up a fight but..you know...Rainbow Dash. I'd wager to say that she's one of the most popular of the mane 6, and all of the mane 6 have been dominating. Big Mac might not be the popularity powerhouse that some other ponies are, but I'm pretty sure he's got Dinky beat. Same with Daring. Spikey Wikey might not be that popular, but I'd be willing to be the got more popularity than Daring. Background ponies have historically not done well in this cup, and Daring isn't even one of the popular ones.

 

Edit: when I wrote this, RD and Cadence were tied. I expected Dashie to pull ahead immediately by the time I finished, but Cadence is still leading. This may be closer than I thought. I hope so, close matches are better.

Spike has given his all in everything he does, yet is still pushed aside and neglected.
