So I went I took my birthday money and went looking for new brushables these evening. And since Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle were the the last two of the Mane 6 I needed, I figured I'd take my findings as a sign of who to vote for...

 

But I found them both!

So I still am not sure who to vote for

It doesn't surprise me at all, honestly. If you look at fandomwide census things, Twilight generally comes out as the most popular character. Dash hardly has the following that most people seem to think she does, and she has a massive horde of haters to boot. But shrug. The match is far from over, and if there are two things I know about Dashie, they are

 

She's very good at coming back when people count her out

 

 

 

 

and she has a habit of turning defeat into later and greater victory

It was a tough call for me, but I cast my vote for Twilight. Looking back, Twilight has had some downright entertaining episodes, across four seasons, and she's an Alicorn Princess now to boot. Rainbowdash is also quite awesome, and she's certainly a fighter, but I just had to go with Twilight on this one.

Maybe Twilight has a shot at toppling the Pink Menace who always wins the tourneys

 

Jokes aside, though, I'm a bit disappointed in how this match is turning out. I was expecting a tooth-and-nail fight to the finish, much like Rarity vs. Twilight was back in the March Madness Tourney (which literally went down to the last few votes for a Rarebear win ) and is why I voted for Dashie, despite preferring Twily - I wanted things to be closer and I expected Twilight to hold the lead when the whistle blew (sorry!) and, besides, my 3 - 6 list on my mane 6 list are all pretty much within a decimal point of each other when it comes to my personal rating

Kinda sad to see it be so one-sided so far. Hopefully a Dashie comeback?
