What's happening to me?

I helps me to be obsessed with multiple things at once so I never burn out on anything.

Yes this is a very valid point. For example, along with my old hobbies, I am trying to learn different languages and computer programming. I never seem to lose interest in something.

@@Shoboni,

Ditto. I'm obsessed with many things at the moment.

-Pokémon X and Y

-Ponies

-Most of Marvel (Spoony's gonna kill me)

-Sonic Comics

-Reading Fanfiction of number 2 and 3

And a lot of other stuff involving crossovers

Have the courage to think and act on your own. And have the courage to disobey.

I'm the same way, there's shows I watched as little kid that I can still go back to content from and enjoy.

"You know, I don't know who or what you are Methos, and I know you don't want to hear this, but you did teach me something. You taught me that Life's about change, about learning to accept who you are, good or bad. And I thank you for that."

The fandom in general has changed from "the old days." I was never a part of the old days (found MLP just a few months ago), but I am aware of what the fandom used to be like based on stories and such. More about love and tolerance and enjoying a show. Now theres overanalyzing, negativity, and just general crap mixed in. Even from my point of view I see it all over the fandom.

One thing I might do if I were you is quit the communities and fandom, and a week or so down the road watch another episode. Don't come back here, or anywhere else where there are a lot of bronies hanging around. Just enjoy the show for what it is, without all this in the background.

If that doesn't work, then it might just be time to move on. It happens to the best of us and the best of fandoms. I've moved on from many of them, and eventually MLP may join their ranks. Maybe now is just your time.

Whatever you decide to do though, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors. ;)

i dunno. maybe you're just 'outgrowing' bronyism? i mean i've been part of multiple fandoms and i always stopped liking them after a few years...

I'll never understand how people can just "stop liking" something.

I can understand losing interest over time, but to suddenly find disdain in it?... always baffled me.

I still love and enjoy every show I've ever enjoyed.

And this is despite knowing full well things like Transformers was corny and horribly animated until season 4 (the season I never actually had seen when I was a kid tbh...)

Hell, I have the DVD's  for pee wee, and fraggle rock and have watched them recently no less :)

While I may not longer find extreme interest in them, i'll never stop liking them. Proof being the 2 large Grimlock figures I have adorning my plant shelf over the living room along side an X-Wing, the Millenium Falcon, Nx-01 Enterprise (1:350 kit modded to light up), and the U.S.S. Voyager :)

If I ever locate my Starscream and others.. they'll join, but atm they're packed up in the garage somewhere I think...
