The two seem to be a bit too much of a contrast to me and I think everything that happened in the episode does not qualify as "high-quality-shipping-argument-ammo", but, let's face it, that was never a reason for people to not ship characters. I think it would be pretty cute and funny, but it doesn't really make sense to me. Sugar Cube 4,843 January 20, 2014 Share January 20, 2014 Before Rainbow Falls, I had no use for Bulk Biceps. I thought he was ugly, unfunny, and somewhat insulting to body builders. While he's still not my favorite character by any stretch, I did really enjoy watching him in this one and I wouldn't mind more of him in the future. He seems like a lovable goofball who really just wants to represent Ponyville by doing his best for his team. He's surprisingly very docile too, despite his large physique and loud mouth. I can't take him seriously, sure, but he and Fluttershy were quite... well, cute in this episode. Somehow. I'm not a big shipper, but I think FlutterBulk isn't half bad. At first he kind of grossed me out but that wasn't very tolerant of me. His personality was pretty cool from what we saw. Sometimes I believe some ships explode because of the names of the ship xD There aren't really any stallions the mane six interact with a lot, and bulk is probably the first stallion we've seen so far be that close and interact that much with shy. A shy, delicate mare and a well-fit, loud and blunt stallion is a good combination, they balance eachother out and bring out things that are normally hidden. It's cute. It's really funny with them since Fluttershy's cutie mark is butterflies and in Flight to the Finish, Bulk Bicepts got frightened by a butterfly flying by.
