Hah this song is amazing all about having your mates having your back putting you back in the game. Love this song.

In a toxic relationship or trying to hold on to a friendship on a one way road? Leave it far behind and free yourself from that mess :)

So I'm pulling out the weeds, I'm taking stock
You can talk the talk, but can't walk the walk
Your narcissistic ways have gotten the best of you
So I'm leaving you to sink, in all your glory
For you and me it's the end of the story.
Get out of my way, I've got better things to do

Anything by Dragon Force, but mostly Through The Fire and Flames, which also has some of the most badass lyrics penned by anybody, ever.

DragonForce songs sound like an epic battle between the gods in song form. They're one of my favorite bands actually.

And my favorite DragonForce song:

Sometimes, when I'm in a lower pit of my normally-optimistic mood, I like to listen to something that builds up elegantly to a fantastic work of instrumental art, capturing the quintessential elements of regality and chivalry.

Other times, I want to feel epic and awesome, like I'm making a point with the most epic determination imagineable.

And then, at times, I want a little of both.

I will never not express my love for these games.

... Also, have Klonoa being uplifting and an amazing singer.

Unconquerable by Brymir is one of the heavier songs that I listen to that I still view as uplifting. Its lyrics contain some dark material, but as a whole I actually find the song quite uplifting, in terms of its lyrics, composition and vocals. I have not read the entirety of the lyrics of the Brymir songs that I listen to, but many of them seem to share a common theme of shining a light even in the greatest darkness, and persevering through even the greatest adversity.

An example of this would be the following from this song's lyrics:

  Quote

I'm standing at the gates of the ending
Watching its vortices swirl
Escaping from doom's mouth opening
Invincible, ineffable, unconquerable
Time has no more measure
The last word I would ever form
Nevermore, nevermore

Another example would be a song called Song of Myself by Nightwish. It is an immensely beautiful and intriguing song inspired by the poem of the same name: Song of Myself by Walt Whitman.

Lastly, but far from least - the music that I find to be the most uplifting is Christmas music and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic music. From My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, I not only love the songs, but the background music, as well. There are too many examples of these to list here.

These two songs together never fail to lift me out of the worst mood. The first one starts low and builds up, while the second one is full of good energy.

You can either despair that a rosebush has thorns, or rejoice that a thornbush has roses.

There are plenty of songs that I find uplifting, ones that get my mind going. Orchestral ones always seem to do so, especially ones like this:

That slow build up over time and the increase in intensity really lifts my mood up.

Plus there is almost anything by The Browning, like 'Ashamed', 'Judgement', and others. I would suggest giving them a look.

One of my favorite "feel-good" songs, so beautiful, mostly thanks to Anne-Marie Helder's goddess-like vocals   :yay:

As for something that's more on the epic scale, I absolutely love the finale of "The Whirlwind" by Transatlantic. Neal Morse writes such beautiful lyrics, Some people can't stand the religious undertones for some reason, but I don't mind it at all, I just like good music   :P
