If there is a heaven, what and who would be in it?

I'd imagine there would be:

  • 100 ft cupcakes!
  • Awesome music playing everywhere you go!
  • Rainbow-color skinned people!
  • Breaking every law of modern science!
  • and...ponies, unicorns, and pegasi of course!!!

Tough one. I suppose my heaven would consist of an infinite library, filled with the compiled knowledge that humanity has collected and ever will collect. The desidens of this library will be all of my favorite characters/people from my favorite shows/video games/history. They would be My companions and partial reference sources as I went on my endless journey to know everything.

Ya know, something like that...

@@PonyFunk,

Heads-up that your thread has been moved to General Discussion, which is the subforum for universal topics like these. For future reference, Sugarcube Corner is exclusively for non-show Brony fandom discussion; I understand you had ponies in your OP, but it doesn't apply for every user ;)

My heaven would consist of food, video games, and all around simple pleasures. That is all I ever want, just security and simple pleasures. My version of heaven, if heaven existed, would be that.

Also, it would have my adorable Essy with me, it would not be a paradise without you my love. <3 I don't like the concept of heaven overall though, it tries to make death sound like a wonderful thing.

Video Games, Music, Anime, Best Friends, Family, Books, Food, all the usual stuff, really. Also, being able to eat as much as I want without weight gain...yes please. Couldn't go wrong with chocolate fountains and giant HD TVs. Oh, and hot tub. And free wi-fi. And cold weather.

Well heaven is real. Energy never dies completely. Quantum Mechanics is something theoretical physicist use to explain NDE,OOBE and the soul. So it's not "magic" like ignorant people say. Christian heaven is 24/infinite worship of God.

Ok so my farther is a rabi and has a very good definition of heaven that goes well with what the theme of mlp-fim.

What he said is imagine you are in a hallway. You walk down the hall way and you hear weeping crying and sorrow coming from a room. As you walk in you smell the best food you have ever smelled and see a table full of a banquet that none could resist. Butthe guests are locked to the chairs with theirs arms forced extended they can touch the food and smell it but cannot bring it up to their lips for a taste. This is hell.

So back to the hall you walk down the hall and you hear joyious laughter and jokes and all sorts of fun coming from the room. As you walk in you see the same scene the arms locked out and the banquet set on the table. But the guests are feeding the person next to them and helping out each other. This is heaven.

I like this representation of heaven and hell.

Like...never ending church? That kinda sounds like it sucks.

Heaven would be lovely. Killian's on tap that never runs out, and a new, intriguing book every day. That's all I'd really need.

I've always thought of Heaven as a place of pure love. There is no violence, no murder, no killing. You're living with an all loving God alongside family members.

This may make me sound crazy but I've felt a warm feeling of "pure peace" several times now. I usually feel it when I see Orbs, or what some may call spirits.

Anyways I want a heaven associated with this feeling. Everybody would be happy, and get along. There'd be no more Racism, hatred, corruption, ect.

Also, a Heaven full of happiness is awesome and all, but I'd also like to live in Equestria, or an anime/video game world for a while too if possible. Just cause, you know? :)

To be honest, I would not want Heaven, no matter how many people and things I love were in it. Well, I mean there is comfort in that idea, but eternity would become too much after some amount of time. It's only natural.

As I've always said about afterlife, I'd want reincarnation, as another human. That's the only kind of afterlife that could give me real comfort. But alas, the notion of an afterlife is nonsense.

if there is a heaven, i imagine there are like 4 or 5 people that have actually lived their lives as they should have according to the bible.

i mean, to be very fair, next to nobody follows those biblical rules exactly anymore.

*resists the urge to mention that heaven is not a place of one's ideals and personal material desires but rather a place of a perfect world where such things are not wanted or needed so as to allow eternal peace and a state of sheer bliss for the departed just*

In my heaven?

My favorite fictional characters would all be real (I'd be married to Maya Fey), the place would be filled with unhealthy and greasy food, all the anime and manga and video games I could ever want to play/watch, and some sort of creation that allows me to travel to anywhere at any time.

... Oh, and God'd probably be there, but that's kinda a given, I think. He'd just better keep his divine fingers offa my waifu.

I personally think both Heaven and Hell are different for each person. For me heaven would be where I can travel into any fandom I desire, first I would go and make friends with the Mane 6.

I do believe there is a magical place where the good ones go. (Im not religious, sorry) But, I do, however believe there is a such place. We are all individual and I believe our soul rests somewhere safe.

I believe whats in heaven would maybe be just a paradise of everything good. Basically whatever you want. Everything good and good people. Basically everything.

I believe that if there is a heaven out there, then anyone who is truly good is invited (and any animals as well) because as long as you are good at heart then it doesn't matter the mistakes you made on earth.

"Everypony everywhere has a special magical connection with her friends, maybe even before she's met them. If you're feeling lonely and you're still searching for your true friends, just look up in the sky. Who knows, maybe you and your future best friends are all looking at the same rainbow." - Lesson #22

Religious answer:

The ones in heaven would be the people who deserved to be blessed by God of course.

And in heaven there will be peace and tranquility. And people doing ordinary good things

People also will be praising god. Helping one another and of course you will be an angel

Personal answer:

There will be ponies, video game characters, and lots of entertainment. I will play gams for unlimited hours and hangout with the non existent characters. And oh I will eat whatever food I want without getting fat

as a pastafarian my religion states that their will be a stripper factory and a beer volcano. also everyone is a pirate since they are our holy figures. but i would wan't my heaven to be an endless adventure of attempting to get to heaven. starting out by falling in an endless sky, landing on a jet, hijacking it, entering a massive fire fight. eventually i will run out of fuel, and shoot down as many of the enemy as i can before miraculously surviving my afterlife plane crash just in the nic of time before there's an explosion. then i make my stake on the area i crash in, do something kind of like minecraft, build a kingdom, then conquer all the nearby kingdoms before i am conquered myself. then i will flee into the unknown only to battle never before seen creatures. eventually i will tame one and ride it to the outskirts of a desert. there i will come across fallen civilizations and wander the ruins amongst the danger and those who did not fall along with it. an endless pointless but awesome journey through every scenario i can possibly conceive.

No.  No its not, tho people tend to misinterpret it that way.  I can look up the exact description but it pretty much is:

Heaven is the ultimate end and fulfillment of the deepest human longings, the state of supreme, definitive happiness.

For me tho...  I know not what Happiness awaits in heaven for I Only know the ones of the Earth.  I expect it would be something beyond Sex or worldly possessions.

I don't believe in heaven or any sort of afterlife. However, if I did, I'm not sure what it would be like. I can't imagine anything that would be perfect, because pure perfection in and of itself is boring, and thus imperfect. The concept of an ideal place seems rather disconnected from reality, in my opinion.
