gaming most annoying enemies in video games

I've been playing a lot of fallout lately and it got me thinking what are the most annoying enemies in video games.

 

Well for me its a three way tie between deathclaws, dragons in skyrim, flood ranged forms and here's why.

 

Deathlaws: If you've played fallout then you've probably seen deathclaws the reason why they are annoying to me is because they are some of the strongest enemies in the game with high health and attack damage they can kill even the strongest of characters and they are near impossible to outrun.

 

Dragons: The one thing that annoys me more than the glitches in skyrim are the dragons they kill important people that can give you quests and you cant just ignore them because they chase your character and even if your character is a high level dragons will still be able to kill you unlike most other enemies that you encounter at high levels and the worst of them are the legendary dragons.

 

Flood ranged forms: These thing were the bane of my existence in halo 3 they can sometimes be impossible to see and when you do see them they can also be impossible to hit at times and it really sucks when your fighting a horde of flood and you have five of these things shooting at you.

 

So what enemies do you think are the most annoying enemies in video games?

 

 

and yes I know dragons are easy to kill but they are still annoying

Any enemy in an RPG that likes to change it's elemental strengths and then not tell you what they are.

 

Shin Megami Tensei enemies in general can be quite annoying. There are a lot of enemies with insta-kill attacks and in a lot of the games if the main character dies in battle it ends the game. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that.

In the multiplayer missions of Mass Effect 3, Banshees are incredibly annoying to me. They have pretty high defenses, they can teleport around, and they have an instant kill close-range attack.

Dark Souls, fun game just brutally hard. 

Awesome! I actually just got Dark Souls today. Coincidence...?

 

I've played Demon Souls, so I wanted to give this a try. Demon Souls was pretty fun as well, but also incredibly difficult, for me at least. I'm sure there are gamers of steel out there who just breezed through it...

Oh I've seen people get through the entire game with shields only, in less than 2 hours, killing all bosses in a single hit, no deaths, it's crazy what some people are capable of xD

I will never forget the absolute frustration, the anger, the nonsensical garbage I had to put up with when I faced... THIS GUY!

 

He's so ridiculous, spams this AOE attack that breaks not only your face but your bonus gauge to increase your stats and exp boost. THIS GUY EVEN SOUNDS RIDICULOUS!

Look at that garbage he's speaking! I hate him! HATE YOU TAMIEL!

For generic RPG enemies: every mudo/hama casting enemy you could encounter in Person 3. There's nothing worse than getting insta-killed for an insta-game over (because of that whole"if the main character goes down, it's game over even if the rest of the party is still alive") at random. I'd much rather get my party wiped out by some dice self-destructing, at least that's not so random.

 

Action/Platformer: In Prinny 2, there was this one enemy that would shoot all these missile-like projectiles. What made them especially annoying was they were often placed in very troublesome positions in the later stages of the game. Like, there was one placed on a platform you had to jump to but placed in a way so that you could see them until after you tried to make the jump, making it likely you'd get hit and fall to your death. To make matters worse, it was placed on a destructible platform, so even if you made the jump, if you tried to kill the enemy you'd break the platform and fall to your death. So annoying... I miss that game.

That urchin from Tales of Phantasia....not sure if they're worse then those demons in the miasma mist part.
