Which sounds better? Poneanthrope Or Misequuist?

Poneanthrope. Definition: A Pony who dislikes Ponykind and avoids Pony society.

 

Misequuist. Definition: A Pony who dislikes Ponykind and avoids Pony society.

 

Which made up word sounds better, Misequuist or Poneanthrope? Poneanthrope or Misequuist is the misanthrope version of a Human as a Pony.

 

They hate Ponies thinking they are all evil and wish the Pony race would die. Some even have been known to worship Humans, want to become Human and wish Humanity to destroy the Pony race.

I have a feeling this is for a fan fic...

 

But I do have to point out. Poneanthrope wouldn't actually mean that. anthrope means human or the human race. Hence Anthropology: the study of humans. So it would mean a Pony-Human...

 

Anyway I go with Misequuist. Not just because of the reason above but I do think it sounds cooler.

Just a nitpick...I believe the proper terminology would be mishippoist, seeing as how the study of horses is known as 'hippology'...but def misequuist.

The Greek of the first one is completely wrong. In “misanthrope” the “mis” is the part that indicates hatred. “Anthro” means human.

So a hater of humanity.

And @Syeekoh is right about “hippo” meaning horse.

Poneanthrope sounds too cute for its definition, so I go with the other.
