That's sad, I can imagine what happened because it was probably similar to what happened with my dad, but after looking at the community he thought it wasn't that bad, and I think he's a few steps from becoming a Brony himself, however when they first hear what a Brony is they get the wrong impression off of them, so I don't hate them, my face is just full of disappoint

Another protective parent takedown... Again, I wish they could establish the difference between these forums and 4chan for instance, let alone other MLP related forums. I bet if the parents saw how bad the internet really can be, they'd think twice about judging a site like this...

Elder Uribe was my friend and I found him as one of the most recognizable people on this forum (at least chat). I have many negative mixed feelings of sadness and anger from this post. That's why I put a password on my computer and log off evertime I leave the computer.

I can't really say much in regards to the parents. I'm sure they're only doing it with his best interests at heart since parents can be very over protective.

 

Still, I hope that his parents will research into these matters and hopefully him and his parents can come to a compromise on this issue of theirs. Hope it all works out!

Parents? Again? atleast they can take some time to explore what this is all about, not base such decisions on outlandish (to put it mildly)rumors and stereotypes that are quite the opposite of how things/people are around here...

 

Besides, in a world where internet connections are ever present, how are you going to lock people away from such places all the time?

 

Anyways, sorry this stuff has to happen to both Strong/Elder. It shouldnt have to be like this.
