technology Do you use any other Forms of Social Media Besides the Forums?

This can range from Facebook, Twitter, other forum sites, Skype, any of that. Do you use any other means of social networking outside of the forums?

 

I use Skype pretty much every day nowadays, and I sometimes use Facebook so I can keep up with my other friends that AREN'T bronies.

Other than skype for a few friends, or facebook to shitpost and troll on, not really. Most of my stuff I get out through tripfagging on 4chan.

I'm most active here, DeviantArt, and Facebook. I also tend to use RFgeneration forums a decent amount. 

 

The good thing about Facebook is that is versatile enough I can keep up with people I know in real-life, AND fandom socializing due to the groups system and how easily it is to to only let certain people see certain things.

Well I occasionally use this other forum I'm on, and I use Facebook every now and then, however I barely do anything social on them myself, like making posts and such. I kinda just 'lurk' for the most part.

Steam if that counts and Skype. I am always online on Facebook, but I never use it.

I am not really social on any of them though, I get messaged around twice a week or something. xD

Of course.............I've been on Halo Waypoint forums for a good 2 to 3 years and already am at the highest rank on the forums.  As of now, its dead b/c of all the bullshit and criticism with regards to Halo 4 and lacking certain things.  Most of them, tbh are just a bunch of asses who want Halo 3 style, which was extremely boring and bashing 343 for going to a more creative level. 

 

I also use Youtube, and want to add DeviantArt, but that's not really a forum.

I'm on Skype pretty much constantly and I go on a couple of forums. Other than that I don't do much else. My Facebook exists for the sole purpose of keeping up with a specific, and very small, group of people that I've known for years. I don't want it flooded with a bunch of people I'll never talk to.

 

That said, anyone can add me on Skype. (Resulli) I appear offline but message me and I'll get back to you whenever. I don't like the feeling that people expect me to talk back to them just because I'm online so you won't always get a response right away and I do go afk unannounced a lot of the time.

Not sure if I would count Skype as social media, since it doesn't really do traditonal social media things. It's more of a communication software really I'd say, and more personal I guess than what I would call social media.
